Tech services lost nothing in 2003 and they will now be over $40 per hour. they basically trouble shoot maint issues with pilots or so Im told.
There's nothing like having "strength in numbers" to bolster your position.

So you are saying that Tech Services did not take any concessions in 2003. Please explain? I along with probably alot of other people thought that they took the same cuts that we did. Was this deal due to the fact that they voted no for concessions? The way I remember it tech services was the only group out of 7 that voted down concessions and the TWU (Jim Little) forced the contract on them.
 
The media, the company and the International all act like we rejected a three year tentative, THIS WAS A 5 YEAR TENTATIVE, why were we not going to be retroed back to the end of the contract? To most of the public who see only the money part of the contract this "3 year" deal doesn't look that bad. The public is not being informed that it is not the money that is killing the tentative it is all the company wants to take from us after giving so much in 2003, at the pajama party and increasing our productivity with less and less headcount.

Do you think the "public" cares one way or the other?
