U.S. government, two airlines say open to settling merger fight

It would not surprise me if there is an antitrust lawsuit settlement in the not-too-distant future.

What would surprise me would be you posting something that was actually news instead of stuff that has been posted by others days ago. If your ego would allow you to read posts by anyone other than yourself, you might know that almost everything you post has already been posted by others.

This is the UTC he predicted 10+ years ago.

Oh, jeez. Come off it.

Stop wasting bandwidth with this nonsense.
Read the tea leafs... Second in command leaves by himself on a trip to DCA to be there on a Friday? Seems like a waste of time for an executive to spend the weekend, unless there was something very important on Monday and he needs time to meet with legal advisors and prep over his regular days off.

Besides if not for speculation, there would be few other topics on this board.

He arrived on Thursday, got his passport renewed, and came back to PHX on Friday. He also got a burger in the airport at 5 guys, and used the restrooms twice. I also think he bought a newspaper and some mints. RR

Mints?! I knew it! That proves the DOJ and company are about to settle. Just backs up what the maid's brother said last week.

I heard from some very reliable sources that Scott Kirby was on an afternoon PHX-DCA flight last Thursday, even going so far as to introduce himself to passengers and crew. Could be nothing or it could be related to DOJ negotiations.

You guys are real boneheads. He's there to negotiate a deal on behalf of Obama to swap Syrian chemical weapons for B737-400s. I know because AOL insiders told Chip that Ferguson wants to use the chemical weapons on USAPA according to Ed Bular.

Don't you know anything?

When you explain it like that it makes perfect sense!

.

1) Easier to get an emergency passport renewed by flying to SFO or LAX.

2) 5 Guys has a location on 44th Street and Thomas (about 2 miles from Sky Harbor).

3) PHX restrooms are cleaner than DCA (and closer).

4) Newspapers are still being sold? .

5) Olive Garden mints are available near US headquarters on Elliot Road in Tempe.

The Board can kiss my ring after a deal is announced.... something is in the works.

He went for a weekend. Maybe, some rest and relaxation.

There are a few other things to do in DCA than meet with the DOJ.

What a tool.

I bow to the master.
