Came up with an agreement with the IAM to jointly represent the membership (strength in numbers use to mean members not unions)
Successfully closed all the line locals (without membership input while keeping ramp locals open)
The MOU for the merger got us a 4.3% raise if that happens, but gave up profit sharing. (FA's got a 3% raise and 9.9% 401k matching, not to mention all the other stuff they gave up in BK contract)
For the TWU loyalist saying well this BK , the FAs paid 50% of what we paid for the same health ins.
Potential 400 mech layoff in 1st quarter 2014 in TULE because new a/c do not need OH maint as much. (Fleet renewal has been going on since before BK, good thing the line sacrificed so much for OH)
What else? Stay away from rhetoric and just give facts please.
