TWU and the Company reached a Tentative Agreement

A little off topic maybe but does anyone know if AMFA allows roll call voting?
Luckily this roll call vote isn't the final word on the TA and the members whose Presidents voted yes will see the light.

Vote NO!!
AMFA NOW!!

Will Hewitt make another vote yes for ruining our
Craft video? Maybe the international will let Him stuff ballot envelopes with colored vote yes
flyers.
Only fools would vote yes on a concessionary
contract that still has open language. Well, fools
and Hewitt that is.

They will probably do the "mail ballot" this time and let Hewitt count local 514 --

wink

wink

Someone needs to motion to use ballot point again

This T/A is a modification of the previous company proposal. All the items are the same with some minor modifications to attempt to trick 600+ members to ensure that the company garners 50% + 1 votes for ratification. Please read the latest post from on Owens.
The question remains as to why Stores would garner a 3 1/2% raise needing only 14 votes to sway as opposed to a 565 vote sway by M&R . Or why Stores is only .47 under median pay and AMT's are $2.97 under median pay.

WHAT PART OF "CONCESSIONS FOR JOBS"
equals

A NO VOTE

DOES HEWITT NOT UNDERSTAND?

TWU leadership pushing for this POS deal are out of touch with the membership, in a different page. We have to make them understand no concessions for jobs. The NO vote campaign started yesterday. #1 priority - get rid of this pathetic union. AMFA now.

What's AA and TWU plan? Get AMT's as mad as they can? TWU who are you representing? Certainly not us. Are you trying to get the members tired, so they sign anything in front of them? Bad news for both of you - we will not vote in a deal if it is not fair to us. Industry standard now, not in three years.

It makes me proud to be an AMT knowing AA mechanics are standing up to corporate greed and the TWU. Like Bob Marley says Get Up ..Stand Up ..Fight For Your Right.....Thank You all my AA AMT brothers that Vote NO...

I know the language will soon be available but if anyone has seen the full text .. fill us in instead of throwing out tidbits that are without proof. Most I've seen seems to be rumor without backing. Was bad enough our "elected" officers negotiating in secret.

How do we know that the language, the full text, will be available soon? Aren't the pilots going to vote on a open language agreement? Sure, that makes a lot of sense. Just vote Yes, and we'll add the details later. That is BS.

elected" officers negotiating in secret. Good reason to vote AMFA.

No read it again last 2 are only 1.5% total of 15% for the six years
My understand was that the TWU was asking for the 17.5% that was taken at the last "bankruptcy". The negotiators have failed to represent the entire membership of the mechanics in an equally and monetarily.
The group of mechanics that were RIF to OSM in the past lost about 38.5% in wages alone.

Now what is the language for the mechanics being forced to OSM?
