Tulsa

You don't trouble me at all MCI transplant I'm on your side. What AA , TWU,and the AFLCIO did to TWA employees, family, and friends was absolutely criminal.

And Buck you shouldn't cry about carrying the cost load for the industry, a ton of other folks have already made that sacrifice so you can ride your 25 year gravy train

I am not carrying any cost load. My gravy train came with being hired when I was hired and nothing else. I have been blessed with a non layoff career in the aviation industry. I have yet to sacrifice anything related to my career. Just because there are those that have does not mean I should yield my gains. I started out with less and now I have more, just like anyone else should. My gravy train started at half wages and now I have topped out and there are those that want me give to those who have lost. I have my own losses and do not and will not cry to you or anyone else about them.

<_< Listen Buck, What you and those working for AA are going through, is not pretty. But believe me, you are not the first one to go through this. It's always unsettling not knowing how this will effect you and your family. But you have to deal with it! I'm glad you have never been layed off! I was basically in the same boat. I was only layed off one time in 33 years, and had to make some tough decisions about myself, and family. I had to move my family from the west coast to MCI. Take my kids out of school, and start a new life in a strange new city. The day we moved we had some women from our church helping us clean the house we were living in, it was getting late, and we still had to get on the road. They told us to leave, and they would finish the next day. Well, to make a long story short, the next day they were rear ended by a drunk driver, and pushed into oncoming traffic. One of the lady's was killed, the other was put into the hospital! They were going to clean "MY" house!!! -------- Some things are beyond your control, have faith in God, and yourself. You'll get through it!

I have received another Text, but from a different source inside the TWU that this $10 deal is not true.

Rumor: TWU Local 514 and International having Backdoor meetings Cirri, Hewitt, Viditche and Gless. $10.00 pay cut for jobs..

Anytime someone hears/starts a rumor, the first thing they do is run to this forum and post it. Does nothing but get everyone in an uproar. But then, do YOU trust your "TWU insider" source :D

The different source inside the TWU? Why it is my Local 514 dispelling this rumor. I see that is a good thing. I did not start this, however with the lack of trust and the lack of fluid information coming from the union, I must use these other resources to keep a clear message flowing to the membership.

Did you forget, that's how the TWU gauges the pulse of the membership? Leak out a few details and wait for the "push back"

Yes, you are correct. Wasn't the Teamsters and Kascher involved?
,
Maybe a Duty of Fair Representation would be in order. Of course I have been told to let it go, since I started the issue in the first place.

<_< ------ Buck, if your going to reply to the man's post, at least get your facts straight! I believe you are referring to the IAM, not the "Teamsters"!----- But after Kasher came around, the IAM was pretty much out of the picture.-------- But than again, why drag us all through that again? It won't change a thing on how the BK Judge, and AA, treats you!------ Like I stated in previous posts, I wish you well Brother!

I do apologize for getting the facts wrong. My response where I said Teamsters was in the form of a question.

I am more than willing to drop the subject.

One reason the public could care less about AA employees losing jobs :
