Yet Trump threatens Germany with tariffs unless they buy our oil...putting us in a bidding war so that prices for Americans would go up. Then there is tariffs on Denmark unless they give us Greenland. And don't forget the tariffs on Vietnam and Indonesia to avoid the tariffs on China since those tariffs were supposed to bring jobs to the US. The rest of the world might want to do business with the US but the question is - does the US really want to do business with them.

One minor thing to consider - a lot of car parts are made in Canada and Mexico and are shipped to the US auto plant to be installed in brand new cars being build by Americans. the increased cost of these parts will be passed on to the American consumer. MAGA is a wonderful thing.

At least he is acknowledging that there might be pain (death???) as tariffs are added to pharmaceuticals that are no longer capped for seniors since Trump rolled back the caps put in place by Biden. So if Grandpa dies because he can't afford his meds, just take comfort in the fact that he took one for the team to make America great again.
