Trump Wins.

I dont' give a **** what you think, but you've been paying those before the influx of illegals....I'm only saying that a lot of people voted for Trump for change and even if he deported 11 million and one illegals, if things like food, clothes, applicances and other things go UP in price because of tariffs, will those people feel like they got the chagne they voted for? "Look ma, no illegals...now what's for dinner". "Mac and cheese again honey......that's all the food pantry had".

Woop de doo powderpuff. I’ve got a 15% raise coming in January and can also work overtime when I want. Maybe you should check out our National Debt and trade imbalances to get a real clue why you’re paying more and more for things.

Those of us who voted for Trump know damn well what we’re getting. We remember how good we had it when he was in office the first time not counting a phucking virus thrown at us from China to slow down the momentum.

Now if you need money get off your ass and go back to work. Or move down to Guatemala.

The United States imports about $3 trillion worth of goods each year. The specter of tariffs can create real leverage with nations whose economies would be crushed if they suddenly couldn’t sell goods to Americans because Trump just imposed a 100% tariff on them.

“If we couldn’t trade with Mexico, we would survive. But it would be the end of the world for Mexico. That does give us leverage. And leverage is everything when you’re negotiating,” Stephen Moore, a former senior economic adviser during Trump’s first term, told CNN in a phone interview.

Moore, who used to unabashedly favor free trade, said Trump convinced him that tariffs can be used as a negotiating tool.

Could you give me an example of how they have impacted you personally? Not 'my tax dollars'....you've had tax dollars paying for **** you didn't want for years. ....did you lose a job to one? Did they rape or kill a loved one? How have they impacted your everyday life?

And the only way Mexico, or Canada or China or any other country hurts is if the manufacturers leave. Otherwise the manufacturer will pay the tariff and, once again with feeling, pass it on to the consumer. And Trump's tariffs haven't brought manufacturing back. Look at China...YUGE tariffs planned for them. So a company has a couple of choices - move production to the US, which indeed would create jobs, OR...move their production to Vietnam or Thailand....not subject to the tariffs and labor cost are considerably lower than in the US. No US jobs are created, but hey...no more tariff...yet anyways.

And I dunno, but I think if a Democrat did something like this, you guys would be all over them about how the government can't pick winners and losers., But when all you have is a hammer, everything looks like a nail. And here's something else....Mexico provides 69% of teh produce sold in America and 51% of fruit. You might need to work overtime just to afford dinner. BUT....those dirty filthy vermin that are immigrants will be gone, so that makes up for it

Trying very hard to convince yourself you are not a Trump Chump?
Oh he's a Trump Chump for sure. You know, back in the 30's German's were proud of their country. But they did a funny thing that strikes me as Trumpish - they didn't say Heil Deutschland....they said Heil to this guy who was the leader. Have you noticed how many post he has are about the man and not the country"?

You’re arguing against a Yahoo. All this moron keeps talking about is he’s going to pay more for apples or something. He’s got some kind of produce fetish. Jackass doesn’t get how much all the filthy vermin are costing the communities they infest.

And I know that area of Roosevelt Ave well. I used to live a few blocks away. It’s disgusting what’s happened there. In the 80’s that area was Crack infested. It was cleaned up under Giuliani and now there are migrant prostitutes all over the place.
