Indeed, there are many fine schools in the south.  What is baffling is the large number of republicans in the south as well.  Maybe you can help....for over a month now, we've been trying to get some posters to give us 3 things that the republicans have done that have helped the middle class.  Nobody seems to be able to answer that.  Don't they teach that in those schools?  Surely someone coming out of such fine institutes of higher learning would be able to cite 3 things the republicans have done to help the middle class.

Isn't it amazing that something that is usually dismissed as a "left wing rag" can be critical of democrats?  I don't think you'll see much critical reporting from American Spectator or Fox.  And don't confuse their bashing of Trump as being critical of the party.  
 
But you know....Mother Jones is right....the democratic party has become just as beholden to Wall Street as the republicans.  That's why Bernie is kind of popular right now....if he isn't elected president, at least he might get the democratic party to focus more on the people and not business and banking.  If you'll notice, Bernie, aka "the socialist" is talking about education - something that impacts people AND the future of this country.  He's talking about medical care...something that impacts people AND the future of this country.  He is talking about breaking up the big banks and putting a focus on banks helping their own communities...something that impacts people AND the future of this country.    What are the republicans offering?  Build a wall and nuke the middle east.  Oh yeah....and give the rich guys a tax cut. 
 
But it's interesting...even then it was a link to an article on how the democrats haven't done much for the middle class in 30 years....how the democratic party has become rather "republican".  But not even one thing was cited that the republicans have done in the same 30 years, or even BEFORE that.
