It was found out after the company filed bankruptcy that for the three weeks prior to the filing on the employee's pay stubs who were recieving 401K match, showed it being deposited into their accounts.

The company informed the unions that the company DID NOT PAY the 401K matching portions for THREE WEEKS PRIOR to the bankruptcy filing!

Then why are you here? I cannot even begin to imagine the attitude you inflict on your fellow coworkers. If you work for "liars, thieves, and people who are out to get you", then why are you here? If I thought that of my employer and spent the greater part of my life being angry at everyone who is not as miserable as I am and tried to convince people reading this forum to think like I do, I would take a long hard look at my life and do something about it. Counseling, antidepressants, a new job-if I were so far gone so as to post the things you do, I would hope my friends would have an intervention for me and get me the help I needed. There needs to be a safety mechanism on this website when it seems that someone is at the precipice.

The company has lied to its employees through two rounds of concessions and now the 401K fiasco. Do I need to go into detail?

I am so glad you choose to attack and insult me because you can't defend the lying actions of the corporate executives at US.

The company issued a letter stating that for the previous three weeks you mentioned, that our pay stubs were IN ERROR. That they DID NOT, in fact contribute for those weeks. They did this under BK. They didn't lie, 700... They told the employees. Like the previous poster said, i agree, I'm surprised your even worrying about this. Oh!!!, I forgot, They violated the "CONTRACT", yea.......thats it!!!! THEY ARE IN BANKRUPTCY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The letter did not state they did not pay the previous three weeks.
