Not quite the real story and I was present. The IAM reps told us from the start that the meeting was not for the mechanics, but they would answer any questions they could. The meeting was winding down to begin with and then a rude, obnoxious loudmouth told the female IAM rep to shutup that he was talking, when she tried to interject something. He told her again shortly thereafter. AT THAT POINT[/b]the meeting was over. They did not kick us out, our loudmouth ended the meeting.Like the last meeting where they threw us out and ended the meeting?

For once I will use 700's infamous quote: Don't let the facts get in your way.
Define in anyway you want. Until the obnoxious one told the lady to shutup, the meeting was orderly. Not to say that voices had not been raised or heated discussion had not taken place, but two-way communication had taken place. The obnoxious one could have told the lady that he had the floor and to wait her turn, that would have sufficed. His rude and boorish behavior was an instant turnoff for both the IBT and IAM people attending. That one individual lost his focus and the attention of the attendees he was addressing and as such, was no longer in a position to effectively communicate. That is what ended the meeting, period!Interject = Interrupt
Sorry,
I do have a dog in this fight.
And it seems that a nerve was struck.
