The IAM Local 142,Has Communicated.

Just as I thought - what a maroon could even keep a job cleaning toilets.

Noticed the IAM set thier meeting so day shift where the senior people can't attend.

Notice how the hours extend beyond day shift?

Glad to see you are so bitter, call the EAS it might help.

And if there are AMTs who want to attend the IAM will not close the meeting if people are still coming in the doors.

That meeting was called by District 141 Fleet Service, not District 142 Mechanic and Related.

Be bitter and wallow, you will accomplish nothing, time to put it behind you and move forward for the best of all.

Stop licking your wounds.

Yep and Hemenway and Glass are licking their chops.

You will never learn.

You couldn't muster 35% how on earth do you think you will get 50%+1?

Wow, simply amazing words from you, your knowledge is outstanding.

Let me show you some simple math.

You did not reach 35% now you need 50%+1 that is actually 15% more cards.

Can you comprehend that?

Like the last meeting where they threw us out and ended the meeting?
Not quite the real story and I was present. The IAM reps told us from the start that the meeting was not for the mechanics, but they would answer any questions they could. The meeting was winding down to begin with and then a rude, obnoxious loudmouth told the female IAM rep to shutup that he was talking, when she tried to interject something. He told her again shortly thereafter. AT THAT POINT[/b]the meeting was over. They did not kick us out, our loudmouth ended the meeting.

For once I will use 700's infamous quote: Don't let the facts get in your way.

Interject = Interrupt

Interject = Interrupt
Define in anyway you want. Until the obnoxious one told the lady to shutup, the meeting was orderly. Not to say that voices had not been raised or heated discussion had not taken place, but two-way communication had taken place. The obnoxious one could have told the lady that he had the floor and to wait her turn, that would have sufficed. His rude and boorish behavior was an instant turnoff for both the IBT and IAM people attending. That one individual lost his focus and the attention of the attendees he was addressing and as such, was no longer in a position to effectively communicate. That is what ended the meeting, period!

If you were there and saw it a different way, then share your version. If you were not there, nuff said. Your call.

Sorry,

I do have a dog in this fight.

And it seems that a nerve was struck.
