You're the one who keeps bringing it up not me. That must mean you are the one who is in denial. Denial that Obama won the election, denial that Philip Berg is a complete wacko, denial that the lawsuit was dismissed, denial that it will probably never see the light of day at the Supreme Court.

Heard O is issuing an EO to eliminate this problem....

Dude...enquiring minds want to know....

Agree or not..this is getting momentum

WND Exclusive CHANGING OF THE GUARD
'Constitutional crisis' looming over Obama's birth location
Alan Keyes lawsuit warns America may see 'usurper' in Oval Office

The biggest question is why Obama, if a Hawaii birth certificate exists, simply hasn't ordered it made available to settle the rumors.

"Should Senator Obama be discovered, after he takes office, to be ineligible for the Office of President of the United States of America and, thereby, his election declared void, Petitioners, as well as other Americans, will suffer irreparable harm in that (a) usurper will be sitting as the President of the United States, and none of the treaties, laws, or executive orders signed by him will be valid or legal," the action challenges.

In these strange and unusual times......nothing is impossible.

Factcheck.org report is based totally on a copy which is different and not the original.

It may be BS...OTOH it could be catastrophic constitutionally.

Citing the constitutional requirement that a president be a "natural born" citizen, the case discusses other state and federal court cases regarding "aspects of lost or dual citizenship concerning Senator Obama. Those challenges, in and of themselves, demonstrate Petitioners' argument that reasonable doubt exists as to the eligibility of the Democratic Party’s nominee for President," the case said.

"Hawaii Revised Statute 338-178 allows registration of birth in Hawaii for a child that was born outside of Hawaii to parents who, for a year preceding the child’s birth, claimed Hawaii as their place of residence," the document said. "The only way to know where Senator Obama was actually born is to view Senator Obama's original birth certificate from 1961 that shows the name of the hospital and the name and signature of the doctor that delivered him."

Among the states where cases are being tracked are Ohio, Connecticut, Washington, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Georgia and Hawaii, and there were reports of other cases being developed in Utah, Wyoming, Florida, New York, North Carolina, Texas, California and Virginia.

You know....I hear you and know where you're coming from. But from Berg alone now this thing is morphing to some 7-11 different states.
Have to see where it goes.

This in itself is interesting:

Like I said before dell, just becasue WND says its gaining momentum does not mean its true. For the sake of argument lets say it is gaining "momentum". All that really proves that for every wacko there's an even larger group of nut jobs out there.

P.S. Philip Berg is a wacko.

The issue revolves around a document provided which is not the same as the original.

The original would prove once and for all any allegations.Pure and simple.

What if Obama wasn't born in the USA?

Fox News faces lawsuit for sliming its source

(HONOLULU)(November 1, 2008) Internet powerhouse Andy Martin has ignited a firestorm in Hawai'i over Barack Obama's bogus "original" birth certificate. Martin won a stunning victory Friday afternoon (October 31st) when the State of Hawai'i backed his assertion that there was an original, "typewritten, 1961" birth certificate, called a "Certificate of Live Birth" or "COLB" in Hawai'i, that no one has previously seen. Hawai'i officials retrieved and examined the document after Martin filed a lawsuit seeking access to the historic 1961 original.

Obama has falsely claimed to have placed the "original" on the Internet. Factcheck.org has falsely claimed to have seen this document and posted it on the Internet; that is not true. CNN has falsely ridiculed Martin.

Hawai'i officials have now refuted Obama's false assertion.

Martin's victory in Honolulu will roil the final weekend of the presidential campaign. Internet chatter is expected to explode as the issue moves to the front page over Saturday and Sunday. Swing voters may be swayed by the exposure that Obama has brazenly been lying to the American people. "We just lobbed a grenade into the final weekend of the presidential campaign," says Andy.

"I am ecstatic. I called Obama a liar. I called Factcheck.org 'ObamaLies.org.' I said CNN was sloppy and lazy and wrong. And I was right. The State of Hawai'i has now backed me up. Whew. I knew I was right, but I feel a lot more comfortable knowing that I have started to get the machinery
moving in state government. The original document is now obviously protected and safe from any tampering by Obama.

"My lawsuit started a firestorm in Hawai'i. The circuit judge has set a hearing for November 18th (a report in the Honolulu Advertiser for November 1st for an earlier hearing date of November 7th is inaccurate; that date was cancelled).

Here's the way its supposed to work in this country. If you accuse someone of something the burden of proof is on you. The fact that the case filed by Philip Berg was thrown out should tell you something. Speaking of Philip Berg you never answered my question about his other lawsuit.

Here's another question, why is Obama's place of birth so important when the place of birth of other presidents not?

I have a feeling it won't matter to people like Mr. Berg what sort of documentation is produced. If it's not to their liking they will just say it is faked.

Article II of the Constitution states that "no person except a natural born citizen . . . shall be eligible to the office of president." The problem is that the Founding Fathers never defined exactly what they meant by "natural born citizen," and the matter has never been fully tested in court.

Here's another question, why is Obama's place of birth so important when the place of birth of other presidents not?
Easy...there wasn't a validity question:

Several prominent politicians have run for the presidency without having been born in the United States, including Barry Goldwater, who was born in the territory of Arizona in 1909, three years before it became a state. Mitt Romney's father, George Romney, ran in 1968, even though he was born in Mexico. Since neither Goldwater nor Romney won the presidency, the "natural born" clause was never tested.

But she said the matter should be sorted out before the election, rather than afterward: "Imagine what would happen if the courts were to overturn an election simply based on eligibility. It would be a disaster. After what happened in 2000, people would completely lose faith in the electoral process."

Funny you brought that up..

Here's the way its supposed to work in this country. If you accuse someone of something the burden of proof is on you.

I believe this is an 'evidentiary burden' on Obama challenging the 'record of birth' which does not list place of birth and is the only document provided and requesting to provide the actual 'birth registration certificate' which would have location of birth.

More importantly.....Obama should be acutely aware of this simple requirement and as the newly elected President one would think,in the interest of clarity he would resolve this issue promptly.

His dragging of his feet and providing a document that does not list the hospital he was born in,his sister naming two different hospitals he was born in and his Kenyan Grandmother's claims she was there in Kenya and witnessed his birth, would in a criminal investigation bring what they call 'reasonable doubt' to the validity of his 'natural born' status.

My birth certificate has the city, time of day and name of the hospital....how about yours?

You can assassinate Berg's character all you wish, but he has brought to light legitimate questions which many now see are valid.

Like I asked....if it was proven Obama is not a US citizen...what would you say?

You can call it a conspiracy theory all you want but there hasn't been an issue of this complexity up until now and it should be addressed.

And this is the legal dilemma.....and it deserves an answer.

Anything that can be edited by you or me shouldn't be considered faultless. Wiki is a nice reference, but because of what it is - it's no more valid than an internet blog.

This site is usually far more accurate.
