The Boy Scout and Chik-Fil-A thread

Again, too bad it isn't in my area, but I have a feeling 'mystery' will be eating plenty of crow on a stick. Save it until the final count, my guess is that business will be booming!

Sure, the gains may be temporary but I seriously doubt their long-term bottom line will be negatively impacted.

C'mon Tree, gimme a break ! That's exactly what the lovefest is about and what the gay community wants to happen, being escorted off the property, so they can say, "See, told you Chick Fil A won't serve us"! No, what Chick Fil A won't and shouldn't stand for is people standing in a eating establishment watching others swap spit and fondle each other !

Ask me when's the last time I saw a straight couple doing the above in a Chick fil A !

The gay community is pissed because here I yet another right wing group advocating the denial of rights, based on their religious dogma, to a segment of society. I would be pissed off as well. There is no legal chance in hell that anyone will succeed in depriving Chick Fil A of speaking their mind. The threats made by the mayors are short sighted and ignorant.

You asked how I would prevent Chick Fil A from opening up other stores. I merely pointed out that the ACLU would be making sure that did not happen.

And as I have said on countless occasions I have no interest in preventing anyone from speaking their mind.

What is it with you, Muff and Singles? You guys keep making accusatrions with out a shred of evidence to support it. Never said that Cathy made a statement saying that. Not aware of anyone who has. Do you have a quote?
