Thanks to all employees from Doug

That's a great idea!!! Try contacting Tempe to refuse it. To begin with, no one will answer the phone. Next, you'll have to leave a message. Lastly, you'll never get a response.

Now that would be newsworthy!! Headline, Tempe, AZ - "US Airways' Employees Refuse $100 Bonus!" "Would rather have a fair contract, livable wage and a product that they're proud of." That would make for an interesting Media Day!!

Of course Tempe wouldn't know how to process the refusals! "We've never done anything like this before."

Now THAT is an excellent post! Right on target, 100% correct!!

Go fudge yourself.

That's the most creative thing you can come up with? Seriously, if you're so dissatisfied with the bonus, refuse to accept it. I suspect you don't have the chutzpah. I double-dog dare you.

$100 x 37k or so employees is a BIG thank you, and I for one am happy for a tip of the hat to all the work we've been doing. Sure beats a wheel of cheese or a "much obliged."

I'd trade the $100 to get on the East payscale. If you are happy with the occasional peanuts thrown your way, then jump on it like a hungry monkey. More power to ya.

To that, I'd respond that I'd like to get from the Express pay scale back to the East Mainline pay scale where I USED to be. I suspect even West pay beats Express. But any paycheck beats government cheese.

I guess the 100 is coming from the millions our top execs have taken from our pockets.

Please! what a joke

Yes, but it WASN'T THIS EXEC, everybody keeps going back to being screwed by the company, guess what, me too. Furloughed 3 times, pay cut down, moving from place to place to keep my job but SO WHAT!? That was then, this is now! The only thing I agree with is that Yes, the westies SHOULD be paid the same amount as the Easties. And where is the union to make it happen???

IF you think for one GD minute that just because there is new management and ANOTHER NEW CEO (who by the way have the exact MO as previous) that they are OFF the hook in fairly negotiating merged contracts specifically with a company who IS profiting more than any other carrier...YOU ARE IN INSANE!

And where is the union to make it happen???
As soon as the union get's Parker/Kirby' approval to issue the paychecks, I suspect the differential will disappear. Until then, though, only one side of the negotiating table can erase the pay difference - management. They could do it next payday if they choose since nothing in the contracts prevents them from paying more across the board.

I will be happy to take the money, but isn't it about that time of the year for the Annual Report and Executive Bonuses to be announced?
