Thanks to all employees from Doug

Funny under Wolf and Gangwal I got over a $3 an hour raise, x-mas gifts and no concessions.

Under Siegel he pillaged the employees and Doug, he is just looking out for his own wallet and to hell with the employees.
Friggin cheese and cookies....

Didn't those clowns hide out after the failed UAL attempt and let the ship slowly sink by borrowing on every friggin' asset we had?

DO you think I care?

Want a cookie?

I made my choice to leave, used up the sick time, had documentation by my Dr, never returned and had a new job ready.

What does documentation by a doctor have anything to do with quitting?? Never heard anyone needing a Dr's note to quit, I smell a rat!!

Gee, I guess you dont comprehend.

I had the documentation to support my use of all my sick time.

And why do you have to make it about me instead of the topic at hand?

Inferiority complex?

No complex, just enjoy stirring you up. And the topic at hand has nothing to do with you, No extra $100 bucks in your pay that week. You put the IAM AGC Tony G. in a bad position with your actions that caused your termination. He is still upset!!

Funny, Tony never said anything to me about it and I still talk to him. Funny Tony is GC, not an AGC, you cant even get that right.

But dont have to e-mail the moderators, they will see it and take care of it since you have to make it all about me and not the topic at hand.

I am so much happier that I left, making more money then I did at US and have a pension.

Can you say the same?

Even spoke to Tommy a few times last week, many former US AMTs are employed where I work and start out at $2 more an hour then you make and top out in one year at $33 an hour.

Says all about you that you cant keep on topic and try to smear me.

He was an AGC when you got FIRED!!

I'm glad you are happy, I guess happiness to you is being addicted to an aviation website from your old employer who FIRED you. I am still awaiting the pension the IAM promised!

Is Tommy and Tony aware that you try to get union information from them to post on this forum?? And yes I know the guys who work there also, I'm not interested in changing jobs for more $$, a worse shift and mandatory overtime. I can handle my bills just fine, even on the lousy wage reductions you helped negotiate!!

And I'm not trying, I'm succeeding!!

I didn't [Fuggem']and took all my sick time monies with me...some $45,000 worth  :mf_boff:

You still got some them cookies?

I got a real hard slice of Gangwahl cheese....trade ya

What a class act!! This should show all of my fellow "East" coworkers what a positive opportunity this merger has become. We would never have seen this with Wolf, Rangwal or Schofield! With them it was "TAKE TAKE TAKE". It's nice to have a management team that supports us from the bottom up. Two thumbs up Parker!!

I think its more supporting employees from the TOP down...

Senior level management receiving millions in stock option and bonus compensation some 8 months ago is quite different than springing for $100 bucks for the front liners. and that was only for a select group of employees at that.

Unless you were just looking for an ole "atta boy" slap on the back... B) I do agree, he does give those out from the BOTTOM up.

..and where are all thoes goodies today, sunshine? Oh,never mind. I forgot. Youre no longer at Usair anymore. You're feeding at the IAM trough now and playing golf with Charlie Bryan, another stellar IAM leader <_<

So i guess the question is , Does 100 dollars really make up for the low wages we all recieve all year long ? Sounds like the answer thus far is NO .... i'm gonna have to throw my hat in the no pile as well.

I'm sorry but for those of us on the west 100 dollars just doesn't CUT it ...as far as i'm concerned you can keep your money , just give me my raise .

On one last note , what kind of incentive program is 50 dollars a goal ? come ON if you want a real incentive program where people will actually put EFFORT into doing their job make it at least 100 , and if the board was really smart they would make it even MORE money say 250 dollars a goal each month , that would help to unify the work force and get their minds of their low paying jobs .

My reaction was, "Cool, I could use a $100."

Am I appreciative? Certainly.

Does it change my opinion about Tempe? Not at all.

A $100 bribe to appease the troops at the beginning of spring break. Good idea. Clever. Amazing they haven't announced barbeques and hot dog roasts.

Am I cynical? Yep.

Put your money where your cynical mouth is and:

1. Shut up, and
2. Refuse to accept the money if you think it's such a lame gesture.

Seriously, nothing makes some of you happy. If you think the $100 is a "lame gesture" just like the poster above me; refuse it. We all know you won't.

That's a great idea!!! Try contacting Tempe to refuse it. To begin with, no one will answer the phone. Next, you'll have to leave a message. Lastly, you'll never get a response.

Now that would be newsworthy!! Headline, Tempe, AZ - "US Airways' Employees Refuse $100 Bonus!" "Would rather have a fair contract, livable wage and a product that they're proud of." That would make for an interesting Media Day!!

Of course Tempe wouldn't know how to process the refusals! "We've never done anything like this before."
