Maybe someone invested in stock and was offered an APPOINTED position to sell us all out?

Maybe the unskilled as you call them FSC''s are smart enough to get involved and do something to protect themselves. While the highly skilled arm chair quarterback, back seat driving mechanics sit at home posting and complaining on a web board.

Remember, the first proposal had cabin service GONE! Guess what, they,re not gone anymore!

Overnight cleaning and UltrAA will be gone. That might not affect the smaller stations as much, but larger stations with substantial numbers of RON aircraft will be affected, with the ensuing loss of jobs as the number of heads exceeds the number of spots available.
LGA FleetService:
I understand that. But the initial proposal had Cabin Service completley gone along with the AFW base and MCI which affects mechanics as well
LGA,
Small stations will be greatly affected. Right now at MCI they are talking 4-5 FT layoffs on May 2nd. Then if this T/A passes, they will contract out the cleaning on 8 overnight aircraft. That will result in losing at least 10 FT heads, bringing the total to about 15 FT jobs lost out of 32 FT positions currently. That''s almost a 50% loss in FT heads, so don''t say smaller stations will not be affected that much. In the past, when there was a layoff, they would automaticly release those on probation. Not anymore, they refuse to layoff any PTer''s. So if all you want is a PT job from AA, you might be able to hold on to it. Also the smaller stations will be dropping right and left when the Pilots T/A passes with unlimited RJ''s. The implications of these T/A''s are huge for ALL AAer''s no matter where they are. Don''t think you are safe because you are in a larger station or a hub. Layoffs and bumping will be huge.

OK, Lets start with the perpetualy underperforming JFK! I''m sure Delta would jump at the chance to pick up this work and AA would be getting their planes ON TIME!!!!
