I hope - no I sincerely hope that the TWU tells the company to go "F" themselves on the dropping of charges.

I believe that is what happened.
Its not the TWUs charges to drop, its the individuals who got their buts kicked.

Last I heard, charges have not been dropped by the individuals who got their "buts" kicked.

delldude loses it at federal court in PHL.
"In order to earn extra money for rising expanses Mr. delldude, an airline mechanic, volunteered to be part of the "Taser" testing program. Mr. delldude was chosen from a group of 50 people who put in applications for the testing program. In this photo Mr. delldude is being lowered to the ground by other volunteers as a 50,000 volt police Tazer is used on him. Aside from gurgling noises Mr. delldude had no comment after the demonstration except to say "I see dead people".
