You are very good at self diagnosis, having described yourself to a T.

Hey TWAnr, An American Patriot who lives in Norman, Ok. sends his love!

"American Girls and American Guys
We'll always stand up and salute
We'll always recognize
When we see Old Glory Flying
There's a lot of men dead
So we can sleep in peace at night
When we lay down our head

My daddy served in the army
Where he lost his right eye
But he flew a flag out in our yard
Until the day that he died
He wanted my mother, my brother, my sister and me
To grow up and live happy
In the land of the free.

Now this nation that I love
Has fallen under attack
A mighty sucker punch came flyin' in
From somewhere in the back
Soon as we could see clearly
Through our big black eye
Man, we lit up your world
Like the 4th of July

Hey Uncle Sam
Put your name at the top of his list
And the Statue of Liberty
Started shakin' her fist
And the eagle will fly
Man, it's gonna be hell
When you hear Mother Freedom
Start ringin' her bell
And it feels like the whole wide world is raining down on you
Brought to you Courtesy of the Red White and Blue

Justice will be served
And the battle will rage
This big dog will fight
When you rattle his cage
And you'll be sorry that you messed with
The U.S. of A.
'Cause we'll put a boot in your ass
It's the American way

Hey Uncle Sam
Put your name at the top of his list
And the Statue of Liberty
Started shakin' her fist
And the eagle will fly
Man, it's gonna be hell
When you hear Mother Freedom
Start ringin' her bell
And it feels like the whole wide world is raining down on you
Brought to you Courtesy of the Red White and Blue"

No need to be a prick.

At least we agree on one thing. :p I do have a tendency to be a prick, specifically with individuals that continuously throw a bunch of rhetoric in one big glob instead of answering specific points and counter points. I’ve formatted my responses cutting up your globs into specific points and counter points (which is much more difficult than the format you provide in your glob formation) and you continue to throw glob’s of information supporting your position in your replies and ignore answering specific questions.

To get back on topic;

Well, this is rich. On one hand you advocate a ‘cut-N-run’ while admittingly knowing that Iran will step in with their open desire to obtain nuclear capabilities. Then you state we will act as ‘one’ at some later date. Maybe I’m reading this wrong, but are you suggesting that we drop Iraq now and come back in some future event in full force after we let these nuts blow the heII out of a few of our cities?

From one prick to another, :p please clarify your statements.

Regards,

B) UT

I'm just trying to be a father
Raise a daughter and a son
Be a lover to their mother
Everything to everyone
Up and at 'em, bright and early
I'm all business in my suit
Yeah, I'm dressed up for success
From my head down to my boots

I don't do it for the money
There's bills that I can't pay
I don't do it for the glory
I just do it anyway
Providing for our future's my responsibility
Yeah I'm real good under pressure
Being all that I can be

And I can't call in sick on Mondays
when the weekends been too strong
I just work straight through the holidays
And sometimes all night long.
You can bet that I stand ready when the wolf growls at the door
Hey, I'm solid, hey I'm steady, hey, I'm true down to the core
And I will always do my duty no matter what the price
I've counted up the cost, I know the sacrifice
Oh, and I don't want to die for you
but if dyin's asked of me
I'll bear that cross with honor
'cause freedom don't come free

I'm an American soldier, an American
beside my brothers and my sisters I will proudly take a stand
When Liberty's in jeopardy, I will always do what's right
I'm out here on the front line
Sleep in peace tonight
American soldier, I'm an American soldier

Yeah, an American soldier, an American
Beside my brothers and my sisters I will proudly take a stand
When Liberty's in jeopardy I will always do what's right
I'm out here on the front line
So Sleep in peace tonight
American soldier, I'm an American
An American, an American soldier....

Yes, I do think we should pull out of Iraq. As stated numerous times, whether we pull out now or in 10 years the result will be the same. Iraq will in my opinion never be a democracy or anything close. Iran will move in and that will be that. When the other Arab nations get nervous, then they can deal with it. I do not believe having Iran and Iraq united will cause any increase or decrease in terror. Their desire for the Nuke is independent of their desire to take over Iraq.

When I said we 'act as one' I was referring to an actually act of aggression. After 9/11, we as a nation did not have a problem with going after Al-Queda in Afghanistan. There seemed to be a credible threat from them and there was evidence that supported the fact that Afghanistan was their base of operation. Iraq had/has nothing to do with anything that happened that day. That has divided the country and put us in more danger than we already were. Removing our presence from Iraq on a set time line will not change that IMO.

I do not like doing "replies" because it just adds to the already cumbersome thread. I try and break my responses in to paragraphs that correspond to your statements.

Thanks for another indirect (but noncommittal) reply to a direct question.

Sure, breaking up clarity into sound bites and regurgitated information is much easier to defend than giving a specific answer to a specific question.

You should go into politics.

So try to be different and answer this question:

Actually I dont listen to either of them. :p
Oh, you called me a d!@#. I dont mind conversing here on that level, but please, for the children, try to censure yourself.

Sentrido.......... you used the word d!@# and my kids saw it and I had to tell them that you meant "the other word" and now they are so upset they can't watch Sesame Street when they talk about the letter "D"

I think you meant censor, right?

  Your kidding right?

The whole Nation had no problem referring to Richard Nixon as (tricky Dick), I don't believe that had any adverse effect on the little ones!
