I would not be so certain. I believe a lot will depend on who gets the Dem nomination. Clinton is too polarizing in my opinion. Aside from that, she is a woman and this country is still to sexist to allow a woman into the Oval. Maybe as VP but not as the President. If Obama gets the nomination I think the Oval is in jeopardy as well due to the fact that this country is more racist than sexist and they will never let a black man in the Oval. The safest bet would be Edwards or Biden in my opinion. They are white males who have established pedigree's and are non-threatening.

The republicans will vote for damn near anyone as long as they are not a democrat. Giuliani got Robertson to back him. That should be a clear indication on how desperate the 'right' part of the republicans are.

When you step back and look at the field, the only 2 (maybe 3) that I can stomach are Obama, Paul and maybe Biden. The rest are loons and idiots. And out of those 3 only Obama has a how of being on the ticket and if he is, then the Dems can probably kiss the Oval good bye which might be a good thing. My guess is who ever wins will get screwed something good by the parting gifts W has left behind. Iraq, Iran, Korea, a fractured Middle East, a pissed off Russia, sky rocketing fuel prices and an economy that is on the brink (I'm sure I missed a few things). Perhaps this country needs 4 years of grid lock. It might be good.

The Republicans are now trying to pull a snow job with Iraq pretending like things are looking up all of a sudden and ignoring the fact that we have lost $1 trillion + dollars, 4 thousand soldiers and the world pretty much hates us.

Never under estimate the stupidity and gullibility of the people. If you do, they will certainly surprise you with they ability to be even dumber and more gullible than you gave them credit for.

It doesn't really matter what Hillary does or doesn't say, a Republican simply can't win an election in '08 and the country knows it. Polls have already shown that she would crush the Republicans likely candidate, Giuliani. Personally, i don't care for her, i'd much rather see Obama, or even Biden. At any rate, whomever wins the Democratic ticket, wins the White House, el chimpo has seen to it.

I agree with some of this but not the part of who you like. I just can’t fathom any of those power freaks running this country.

The fact that the demos will probably win tells me God is judging this country letting people in charge who will assure it’s destruction in total.

If she wins the nomination it will be because her rivals – namely you – were weak when you confronted her and could not look her in the eye when you did. She is beatable but you have to raise your game. Iowa is your great chance for a breakthrough. Win it convincingly and you can build on it in the contests that follow. Lose it and victory becomes much more difficult.
