All you just said was that the state was violating the COTUS and the state was not reversed till someone brought the vase before the SCOTUS. As far as I am aware, the SCOTUS has not had a different stance on the 1st. The fact that states or cities had laws that violated the the law is not the issue nor is it new news.
How the hell you think things end up at the Supreme court?
Most of those things listed went on for more than a lifetime.
Looks like you can't hold office in NC to this day....LOL
God vs. Gov’t: What Does the Constitution Really Say About the Separation of Church and State?
Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the government for a redress of grievances.
Perhaps there is a failure to communicate. As I understand this, your OP had to due with the idea of separation of church and state. That is a federal concept that applies to the states. When an issue arises on a state level that contradicts the idea of separation, it will eventually go before the SCOTUS. While states may cross the line, when ever it has gone before the courts, the standard of the separation clause has always remained the same as far as I am aware.
All I am arguing is your original post. There is a separation of church and state. It is well defined and clearly defined in the 1st amendment. Whether or not Congress or the states have violated the Constitution or not is not at question. The court has maintained the same stance on the issue when ever the issue has been brought before them.
You have nothing to say regarding the issue being discussed? You bring up a three month old thread just to insult me?
We all know, you bow to the Anointed One and his church, no use denying it !
Well LAME BRAIN, since your filling us all in, on what another person "Bows to, and the specific CHURCH in which he does so,
Now I have a question for you.
WHO do you BOW to, and at which Church ???
We'll ALL wait patiently, for your RESPONSE, ASSUMING that you HAVE ONE,....OR, are keeping your Cards-close-to-your-vest ??????
TICK....TICK.......TICK !!!!!!!!!!!!
