Selfish, Ignorant, Rude & ARROGANT behavior!

<SNIP> I worked very closely with PIT, PHL & CLT people on many merger projects and still work everyday with people from PIT & CLT; and the PIT people across the board, work less, complain more and act as if they owned everything.....

PB you confuse HQ w/ west people.

It is an inaccurate and misplaced use of anger.

Being an "eastie" I agree w/ much of what UPNAWAY has just posted.

UPNAWAY, generalities just like you PB and others use at times was not the best way to initially respond.

I might add the Tecates are ice cold and going down nicely.

I drank a whole bottle of Riesling but here goes.
You seem to accept the exact same arrogance from the bad apples left on the East?

On Most BBs what is the biggest single complaint about US? Is it policies or usually poor treatment by very senior FA's?
There is no excuse for bad customer service. I don't care how much things have change, how much you gave up, or how many broken promises. Do your best every day or go home.

Anyhow, my observation wasnt to start an East vs West thread it was just wondering why the general nice folks from Pittsburgh somehow become the Sand Castle of the east when they never ran anything?

Well I got another football game to drink through. Cards vs Panthers should be a good one.

A quick disclaimer, of course I am speaking in generalities and know there are a lot of hard working people across the system.

The very idea that a commuter on another airline would raise their voice at all speaks volumes to what I am talking about.

My observations has nothing to do with the complaining commuters of this post!

self important PIT people.

And the Kidz in the Sandbox are masters of humility.

If the PIT-PHL commuters have the names of those in question, why dont they post the scenario in their breakroom in PHL of what happened using their names? Quickest way to get it to stop is to quit trying to hide it and pretend it didnt happen. Once the privilege is taken away, those in question will be first in line to try to figure out who it was that ruined it for them. They probably dont even have a clue that THEY are the ones that will be responsible. Either hold them accountable each time it happens or dont complain when its over for everyone else.

  GO ARIZONA CARDINALS!!!!!  WoOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOHOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!  :p

In addition, I'd like to personally thank you for airing the PIT commuters dirty laundry on this public forum making us look even worse that most people think we already our due to past behaviour.

HUH? Wasn't me sister, but maybe your provincial, entitlement attitude needs to be exposed.

Your words, "past behaviour"......enough said. That said, thanks for the British spelling of behaviour.

I would like to interject my $.02 (adjusted for inflation) into this senior F/A discussion based on prior experience.

About 1 year ago I was travelling non-rev DCA-PIT after having moved from another location. I had just recieved my boarding pass and I admit I was a bit slow moving away from the podium after getting my seat assignment. Obviously I was moving too slow as I was bumped rather rudely by what was clearly an F/A also travelling non-rev (or deadhead). This F/A made no attempt to excuse herself or apologize for this rather firm bump but just continued on her way. I was dressed in such a way that I could not have looked any different from a regular US passenger.

My point? This F/A could not have had any way of knowing if I was a non-revving employee or a Platinum business traveller. Had I been the latter, I would have reported her behaviour without hesitation to US Airways but, knowing I had little ground to report her as a non-revver, decided to blow it off. If these F/As with attitude don't worry about offending paying passengers(or ones who at least look as such) then why should they worry about displaying such attitudes at airline employees at other carriers.

IMHO, WN needs to start taking and reporting names of offenders so at the very least, they are scheduled for adjustments to their perspectives and attitudes, or told to find other ways to commute to work.

Again, just my 2 cents(or whatever such an opinion is worth today!)

As nearly every single "merger project" has turned out to be a failure, many being "abject" failures, I am not surprised at your, um, viewpoints. I imagine when they close PHX as a hub (never happen? - gotta bridge to sell you), there will be similar instances of arrogance with which 99% of others will be branded.

I was a bit surprised to find out that US HQ was in CC not PIT, that the most important hub was PHL not PIT and that the biggest was CLT not PIT, but one could not tell that from the self important PIT people.

I think it has already been said.......

"Sit down..keep your hole shut..wait to be called.. take your seat.. keep your hole shut...feel PRIVLAGED... Keep your hole shut.... land in Phillly" ...or PHX (I added that part)
