Saudis give nod to Israeli raid on Iran

Sorry Dell. I know pics are you 'thing' but I could not resist the urge.

You are right about the time zones. However it could be a typo. The controller called the flight five more times over the next 4 1/2 minutes but received no response. Did he just put it on the back burner and scambled the fighters an hour later?

It's not a typo. If you had read the report you would know this. You would also have known that ATC did not wait an hour to send the fighters. At 1400Z the USAF Southeast Air Defense was contacted to send an F-16 to investigate.

Some people jump on these sort of conspiracy theories without asking rather basic questions. Like, "is this actually true?" Or "is there more to the story".? Or "is the person who has put forth this theory know what they are talking about?" Add to that "is this person a wacko?"

That does not change the fact that there were training excercises on 9/11 simulating a Russian bomber attack through Canada, which kept all the fighters away; and they pulled the same training excercise scam on 7/7.

Please forgive me if I'm a bit skeptical of your claim. So far you have not been very good with the facts.

Obviously it is not a typo. And yes, perhaps the controller put it on the back burner for an hour... OR... just maybe... a random controller cannot just simply call up any old F-16 fighter pilot and tell him to rev up the engines and fly over bumblefok, Oklahoma to visually inspect something. Maybe there are a few hoops to jump through to effectuate such procedures???

On a note more closely related to this thread, Israel has been a significant source of information regarding the middle east region (even if our U.S. counterparties need to scrub the information for bias). It would be fruitful to keep those information access resources open.

Bumblefok OK is a popular place. I see F-16's over there all the time.
