Rules For The Ramp..Title Edited

if your on the bwi ramp you might hear

After the O's game we went down to the O'cean and drank some Brewsters and watched the pO'lice go by

everything in BWI is accented on the O

No matter how good the ramp does looking out for each other, there will always be a bottom feeding POS manager looking out the window to advance their career by writing down anything they can report to their boss.

They want the cheeks wrapped around their heads to think they care about customers (instead of stepping on some one to get higher).

And then some one on the ramp invites them out for a beer.

Don't accept the invitation. You may get what you deserve.

When crews were first encouraged to check bags during deadheads, there were blue logo plastic tags with the word “CREWâ€￾ on them. I often wondered if the W got snipped off, would the bags end up in CRE, wherever that was.

Our old long hotel in TPA had a life-size bronze statue of a business traveler, complete with bag, in the lobby. Yours truly was the one that was always putting the CREW tag on that bronze bag.

N965VJ...I can answer your question and thereby show my age. CRE is Creasent Beach which is north of MYR. When PI first started flying there they used that airport before MYR was built. Now I am talking the days of props. CRE is still used there for private aviation, has an FBO but also sits right next to the Intercoastal Waterway.

65. There will be many discussions that take place in the breakrooms and bins. These can run anywhere from the best place in town to eat to Presidential politics. Feel free to join in and add your two cents worth but consider yourself forwarned if you use a word with three or more syllables someone may ask you to spell or define it. Go ahead and give it your best shot because if you are wrong chances are no one will know.

I believe this might be another case. Doughnut is anything but "gangster". I believe he still wears his wing tip shoes. His waist is just larger than his hips and his belt broke then down they went. Pretty sure he had his boxers on.

67. Occasionally you may see a note or hear someone asking for a "swap partner". Do not be alarmed this is not as strange as it might sound and has nothing to do with any kind of wild sexual encounter. It is someone looking for a partner to work double shifts with you so that each can have three of more days off a week.

the word chink

doesn't refer to once nationality . but to the fact that you are dropping a cart full of bags (sometimes only 10) on the gate

the origin of the phrase came from the sound it made when you disconnected and reconnected to the gate train of carts..

with the latest incident in CLT

NOW MORE THEN EVER.......... DO not and I repeat DO NOT attempt to P/B without having 2 wingwalkers and their attention at all times

not saying that had anything to do with what happened .. Just reminding folks of Corp Policy.......
