Retirees filed to be reheard

Oh I’m certain that Fa was given information or at least a comment that IMO was stated they’d “like” to get it out to us before the Holidays. Be that Thanksgiving or Christmas.

It’s what Fa said to the Membership there that I’d be interested in knowing? (HIS credibility on the line)

Steve I’m 100% positive after that last “Official” TWU update that NO ONE was told from any rep of the ATD or International that we would get any money before Thanksgiving.

That update was very specific that they wouldn’t rush the process just to get something out. And I don’t trust anyone. No one is Mother Theresa including William Fa.

I agree, especially the trust part. Yes the international doesn't want to rush and make mistakes but they should have started the process after the 9th circuits final denial. They wasted that 90 days. Surly in 90 days this could have been figured out. If not then the wrong people are doing the figuring out. Maybe aircraft mechanics and bag smashers shouldn't try pretending they are accountants. I don't hire a house painter to bake me a pizza, sure maybe he could do it but perhaps stick with what you know

"They are trying to get it out by the Thanksgiving Holiday" is what was relayed to me by a board member.

Oh I just love the play on words.

First I read here that Fa “said” we will “have” the checks “before” Thanksgiving.

Now I’m reading “they” are “trying” to get “it” out by the Thanksgiving Holiday. (Backpedaling?)

And a little birdie told me that “they” would “like” to have something out to us before Thanksgiving. If not before Christmas then.

I think I’ll stick with my “guess” of sometime in January.

I agree they should have had some kind of preparation ready. BUT the holdup for the most part still seems to be with any IRS issues and the Union not wanting to pass the dough to the Company only to maybe have them dump more of our cash into Government coffers.

Steve should they have also maybe telegraphed distribution plans when the EBO people still had 90 days to maybe file, poking the little Hornets nest?

BTW if the schmucks out there (Yea schmucks) hadn’t sold the first batch of shares two seconds after they hit Computershare how much would they have been worth when they hit $50 a share?

BTW the Wrench Monkeys and Bag Smashers aren’t the one’s who did the distribution of shares and are not the ones who managed the investments of the assets.

They have professional advisors for everything.

And we know how good you are at predicting dates...lol

Totally irrelevant to this conversation. You always have a way of telling folks how great you are with money and how people who don't follow you are "schmucks". Hey W, you know nothing about anyone here. You have no clue what some might have been through. There is a huge difference being single and being married putting kids through school and financing other needs and necessities. Dude, you really are a piece of garbage at times...

Hey I own up to it that my “guesses” have completely sucked. But I’m not in office and can make guesses like anyone else.

Biggest problem is how many assholes there are out there that want to try to pigeonhole people to absolutes that those actually in Elected offices don’t want to catch the BS by giving their opinions. (Something Fa now may have to learn the hard way)

$50 then down to $28 then $50 then $40 then $50. Warren Buffett may recently like airline stocks but my cup of tea investing wise is in other areas.

Don’t get mad at me cause you sold man. Maybe you were one of the honestly desperate people who needed to do it. But MOST I talked to at the time were schmucks.

When I talk to them today they admit it themselves. I had to learn as I got older to be less of a schmuck. But even I have my moments of being both a schmuck and a dick VERY often.

Sorry if I don’t follow the sheepie narratives.

Hey Steve thanks for not calling me Garbage man. Can’t get called anything worse than that IMO.

I got out of the Airline stocks in October of last year. I got enough in the Bank Accounts now so I’m only long term retirement investing now.

I'm not a name caller Weez, and everyone does with their money how they see fit. Personally I'm turning into a dividend player.
They could have told the EBO people anything they wanted to a few months ago, wouldn't have changed the outcome.

Why not! You got your letter about how much was in your prefunding didn't you? Tit for Tat

What schmucks are you referring too weez? The idea of the equity was a great idea, but I don't want to be forced to be a investor in any airline. And yes I couldn't hit the sell button fast enough. So I guess that makes me a schuck, right?

Maybe? I’m going to give them a little slack till January though myself. I’m not sure I even want the check this year? Might be more interested in seeing what happens with Tax reform first?

Steve there were pathetic people screaming for a check on day 90. Pathetic cause many of them here have gambling addictions and spend all their money over at the Hard Rock Casino. They’re habitually broke.

When I find out about those guys here on the Ramp I tell them to get the F away from me. I don’t give info to pathetic’s. (Hows a comment like that from Garbage)

There you go again W, assuming. I'm guessing that you were so wrong at so many things growing up (because you assumed instead of finding and using facts) that you now have to criticize those who YOU don't agree with. You need to learn your way isn't the only way or the right way. Once you can accept that, you might not be a prick as much. But then...
