If the Fed did create the Great Depression, there was more to it than currency manipulation. They were also on a War On Drugs of their time, known as the Prohibition. Since you had a black market on alcohol, mobsters were getting rich...tax free. You also had the stock market crash in 1929 which was the tip of the iceberg.
