Delta +7% my ASSociation. We should be going for SWA +15%, or FED EX +20%!!!!  Now that would be "Going for Great"!!! We have been banged like a cheap road whore at the flea market for 30+ years.  The 1995 contract abortion really started the TWu concession ball rolling, while the CompAAny went on to make record profits in late 90s.while we were locked in a 6 year sh*t contract with OSM's taking away AMT jobs.  No major sinks as low as the AA AMT when the TWu is in negotiations.....NOBODY.
 
I have heard a lot of angry voices about this state of our disrepair lately, A WHOLE LOT OF IT.  The operation as a whole is falling apart. The moral is nonexistent...nobody gives a rats ### and the resentment is off the chart when management shuts the door on long time employees that built this airline for 13 years and counting.
 
If DUI Doug and his minions think this massive airline will run the same business model that he did at USuckAIR or America Worst he will fail...but failure is really only another BANKRUPTCY, so DUI Doug and the boyz is golden....parachute.
 
Hey, it's not all bad.  They (incoming USAir mgmt.) got some of the local union boys to have to show up for work (to work) like the rest of us.  It puts a nice smile on some of our faces.

Floating holidays just get moved if you can't hold them, "premium" holidays you get two choices, work them and get double time or work them at regular pay and move them just like floating days.
 
and it looks like your numbers are correct.
You can also purposely float any of the holidays if you would prefer time off to premium pay.

One small point about Certified Time: You can use it retroactively to day 1 of an absence, once the time way is 7 days or greater.

What Hackman has listed as "sick time" is called PPT time at DL. You can use it for sick time or single days off (not sure what that's called at AA, but at NW & UA. They were known as DATs)...
 
Has the grievance been filed to remove USAir from the calculation on the 12th of September?
 
I was told that by removing them it is another $1.00 / HR in out pockets.
 
I wonder if it really matters, what happens before the Delta +7%.
 
In the end will rise to the DL +7%  which seems to be calculated at $43.00 
 
I do wonder about the IAM Lead Pay vs. TWU Lead Pay and the the respective Inspection Pay.
 
But also the difference between the IAM Inspectors / Lead andthe TWU which has the Inspectors andLeads making the same...

Yes there has been a grievance filed on that.
 
if you are expecting the twu association to do anything other than help themselves to more scams, then keep waiting. our exec board is an embarrassment to us all. they all need to be removed and come back to the floor and stop the stealing our money. a totally worthless group of liars, cheats, scammers.
 
The question is who are we going to replace them with?  It seems in my 25 years or so that we swap one set of losers for another.  It seems they all start out telling us how they're going to shake things up and make things so much better for the average TWU guy and gal but soon revert to what we had in the last bunch, a bunch of worthless liars, cheats and scammers (but not necessarily in that order).  How do we get off this sad merry go round should be the question.

I'm not sure who you really are, never the less you did write a post that is in line with the kind of thinking I've held since the day I was hired.

Actually that grievance wouldn't have even gone into effect until the day the raises happened if US is still in the calculation. The violation doesn't occur before anything or when the company says they're going to do something. They have to actually do it.
