QC off the b checks

And the last time we screwed around with BC's where did the 737 and 757 go? Did JFK, SFO, and LAX have our backs...
B checks go where routing puts them. Not suprised to see you defend the companys move to eliminate premium jobs on the line. Yes a 29D has been filed. We had a flawless record with the 767 b check many years ago but they moved it to LAX. Thats thd way it goes.

And now its in MIA and JFK. Your point? My was that routing gives and airline many options of where to place aircraft.

BC is a premium job? I prefer terminal myself on days. Got to love those ER checks.

Its nice to see that posted since many here at AA think that it's the quality of work.
G. Hall and D. Martiinez thought they could threaten stations with we will move it if does not
get out.   It's due to flight schedule, for marketing purposes.

"YES" station hanger and staffing play in that as well, dependant on aircraft type.

Maybe if the TWU culture wasn't ( I GOT MINE ), when it was time to stick together as a union the communication between
stations would be better and then each station would have the others back as you say.

But the TWU festers with scammers and the IGM mantality that it is out of control.

Some years back, they moved the 767 B-ck from LAX to SFO, because of performance issues. The company will move B-cks as a form of punishment. Seen it far too many times.

It may of happened but to move a wide body originator to spite your employees, is not a good business practice.

Airlines usually move aircraft to accomodate the flight schedule. example 767 from SFO to MIA.
It's all about dollars and cents, not performance. That is why the airlines have outsourced work to
South America, Mexico, or China or AAR, Timco, etc....

Been with AA for 28 years now, seen it many times. The company will do things like that as forms of punishment. That's a big reason SFO got the 737 B-ck.

A narrow body "B" check such as a 737 or MD-80 does not effect too much when your talking flights.

ETOPS and transcon flight with wide body aircraft are the bread and butter of the airlines.

And LAX and DFW used to have about 5 BC lines each. They can be easily moved and under the US program they do phase checks which can be done just about anywhere. I hear that the TWU reps in MIA have been pushing hard to get the 777 BC moved there.

Arn't you forgeting Union Politics? MCI was "suposed to be" the Home of the 737 "C" checks! But the boys At the TWU, in TUL, couldn't have that! And pressured to have it moved! And this had nothing to do with performance! And it was moved without explanation, just told "That's just how it is! And we don't want to hear another word about it!"

Fallacy.

Nice try but I spoke to a Boeing rep a while back comparing airbus and Boeing.
Airbus allows phase checks. Boeing's program is step up as a letter check, opposite of a phase check. Our wide bodies are Boeing products. You have to ask Boeing to re write their maintenance program for approval. Just for AA? I doubt it.

Wrong, US only does a phase check on the A330 and 767 and those are done in PHL or CLT in the Line Hangar.

Really? Good grief, that's shameful. I am so tired of the TWU.
