First of Al....lil Kim can't hit NYC. He can't hit Seattle....he MIGHT be able to hit Anchorage, but that's iffy. But he CAN hit Seoul and he CAN hit Tokyo and he DOES have about as thin a skin as OUR dear leader. And when OUR dear leader goes off on a twit fest and starts insulting lil Kim...he certainly has the capability to "prove" that he's not as stupid as our dear leader said he was. And our dear leader doesn't think before he twits....and our dear leader is a bit mentally unstable himself. So.,..if our dear leader ends up getting Seoul or Tokyo nuked because of one of his twits....what is the impact on the USA.

No one wants a patriot missile defense system in their neighborhood.
We can put one in Camp Casey, but it's too close to be effective.

The GOP primaries usually have one sane candidate and one wingnut candidate. I registered as a republican so that I could vote for the sane candidate over the nutcase. For the state Senator and Legislator for my district, the sane ones made it to the ballot and were eventually elected. And a sane conservative beats a wingnut, hands down.

I am sure what you call a "sane conservative" is what a true conservative would call a RINO, or as close as you can get per given election.

NOpe...a sane conservative is one who realized that after all the rich folk got their tax cuts, we didn't have the money to operate the government after cutting as much as we could from social programs and still ended up borrowing from the highway fund and state pension fund that maybe they should revisit what they did. Things like getting rid of the "LLC loophole", where a small company could form an LLC and pay nothing in taxes, along with a "pass thru" loophole so that individuals would not pay any taxes. This might surprise many of the hard righties, but even for the things you WANT...it takes money. A sane conservative realizes this. A nutjob still buys the theory that tax cuts increase revenues.

Maybe one of these days you liberals will figure out that the government does not produce wealth it only confiscates it and redistributes it.

You don't grow an economy by redistributing wealth to people with no ambition to accomplish anything.

We have far too many moochers in this country multiplying and consuming on other people's confiscated and redistributed wealth and it needs to stop.

No, but I don't think giving rich "go getters" will cause them to create jobs when there is no demand for something. Look...Kansas offered tax cuts. I just helped my kid with her taxes this year and I've done mine for this year. She worked two part time jobs and grossed $8,000. I am single middle class and my gross income for the year was under $100k. My ex is a realtor and netted over 6 figures. On the advice of her accountant, she became an LLC a couple of years ago, and hasn't paid a dime in state taxes on her business OR her "pass thru" income to her personally. I had to write a check to the state this year, and my daughter ALSO has to write a check to the state this year. My ex has not created any new jobs, even though the tax cut said that it would "create jobs".

And creating jobs is a risky venture. If you were a rich guy and got a windfall, would you risk the possibility of losing money, or would you just invest the money in the market (which doesn't create jobs)? Especially when we are also pushing a reduction in the capital gains tax....again with the aim of "creating jobs"? So if it comes down to helping a "moocher", I'd rather help a poor moocher than a rich moocher.
