PIT NONREV

"What is the most non revs listed"

LAS-PHX Flight 777 used to leave at 11.59PM was a 757 and would go out full most nights with only about 30 paying paxs. It regualrly had over 150 Non revs on board, mostly crews.

I really miss that flight! Was always so easy to do a sweet day trip to vegas from phx.

Try alternate routes into PIT. BOS-PIT usually has seats. RDU-PIT is ok sometimes. DCA-PIT is a good option with many flights.
Stay away from PHL or CLT to PIT. Always full.
Also, Southwest from PHL-PIT is a good bet, or from BWI-PIT.
Good Luck visiting 'the 'burg'.
Have a great day.

If the flight were so full with nonrev...wondering how US make any moneys off the flight. I saws a 757 PHL-PIT and half of the passenger 50% are EMPLOYEE. Anyway if you can't get on the flight in SEP-NOV as a nonrev. How do your commute in the Spring Break, Summer, Winter, Holidays?????? Driving everyday off? Just wondering what happen if the CREW couldn't get to work on time if they don't make it out of PIT??????

Would you have to sleep in the airport if you CAN'T make the flight or drive from CLT-PIT or LGA-PIT how many hours drive is that?

I would move out of PIT if it were so hard to commute. I think it risky for the crews that choose to commute from PIT and TO.......may end up with out a jobs if you can't make the flight to WORK....TOO risky..just a suggestion.

Thank you for the TIP...

US Still Does Maintenance work in the PIT Hangers. It is better to make a few dollars then to Ferry the Aircraft into the System

There are only two kinds of People living in PIT, those that move away at 18 and never look back and those that will never leave. There is a lot of the latter hence the large number of commuters.

There is a lot to be said for living in a place where you own your house outright, instead of owing more on it than it is worth.

Not to mention living in one of the most livable cities in America.

Moving for USAirways, then moving again for USAirways, and then.

Some people will never understand. USAirways, like most companies, doesn't employ people. You are just a tiny piece of the machine.

Relocate for this company judging by their past history.......GET REAL!!!!!

Do Crew Scheduling make the F/A's and Pilot's Deadhead to PHL or CLT a few hours before they trip? Just wondering what happen to the CREW who do not showing up ontime for they flight? Because they can't make it out of PIT? Drive is the only option or buy a FULL fares ticket to get to work? Jumpseat is FULL so you can't jumpseat in the cabins or cockpit.. Just wondering HOW do these CREW planned?

A lot of PSA people didn't think much of PIT over 20 years ago, until they say what their housing dollar would buy compared to the west coast.

Speaking of out west, looks like the WX currently SUX in PHX :p

WELL ABOVE NORMAL DAYTIME HIGHS WILL OCCUR TODAY THROUGH SATURDAY. AN EXCESSIVE HEAT WATCH HAS BEEN POSTED FOR FRIDAY...WHEN DAYTIME HIGHS OF 110 TO 115 ARE FORECAST OVER THE LOWER DESERT.

Actually, the mornings are quite lovely right now. And that 110-115 is not so bad as long as there are no afternoon monsoons. Hot is fine, humid is ugly.

We have these little things in PHL called "RESERVES". They are there to cover trips for cancelled flights out of Pittsburgh or for those "runner" f/a's that don't leave a backup to get to work. Let a flight cancel and look at option 44 on catcrew (our work computer). It's like popcorn popping.
LHR A

FRA ABG. No joke.

And please people, don't say it isn't so.
