This is a truly sad story about someone who I have flown with quite a bit. I am glad they caught it early, as my dad was diagnosed with this disease and deteriorated very quickly. At least his family can take the time to learn and understand the disease and just enjoy spending time with him before he forgets them completely. They are all in my thoughts and prayers.

My thoughts and prayers go out to Al and his family. This is a Very Horible disease that takes its toll on the family. I have personally experienced the pain and stress that this ugly disease has to offer. May the good Lord give Al and his Family the strenght they will need to fight this battle.
