PHL-ZRH Divert 10/20

Passengers don't leave the scene thinking that they need to see a doctor......they do not fly these old airplanes consistantly and have friends that are disabled due to this kind of incident, like the crew does. Also, if the crew doesn't make a medical record of the incident in a timely manner, the company will screw them in a heart beat.

I don't engage you on this forum because you are like an adolescent and will say anything just to piss people off and draw attention to yourself.......you lack character. I have no time for your BS.

I speak my mind. You just don't like what you read because it doesn't conform to your your warped sense of reality.

Your excuses are BS. If the fumes were overwhelming enough to overcome the crew, then you could expect at least one passenger to succumb as well. None did. Not one.

So quit make excuses.

And you engage me because I challenge your paradigm. If anyone is the adolescent here it's you. You throw a tantrum when you hear something that shakes that little world you live in.

It's time you grew up.

At least my paradigm has substance that includes some ethics, unlike yours. Unless you work the East operation and fly those machines, you have no right to judge the ones that do.

Sorry, I said that I didn't have time for your BS.....actually, it's not a time problem...I just choose not to get engaged in your BS.....I have better things to do than argue with an adolescent with no class.

Some of you need to reread the topic title. It appears you drifted in from another thread.

These are ancient machines, with no replacements coming. Are they not 200 models from the early eighties? They are going to be harder and harder to keep running, and to keep from leaking smells and fumes as they age.

And, I have to wonder how often those ovens are cleaned...I mean REALLY cleaned. They can smell awful.

and just like the 737's the ducs are in all likelhood shot....
1/2 the 737's have to run around with the trim air off just to control the heat/ ac....

I have business cards I hand out when there is an "odor" event, with the AFA attorney's contact information. This is a major problem in the airline industry and should be addressed. Involved in one, willing to terminate those responsible for another.

Remember, one dead flight attendant, two pilots losing their medical and six plus flight attendants still in a hospital after two months (they won't fricking release them).

The company can quit hiding as the FAA is willing to prosecute in a terminable manner, without discretion, those involved in covering something like this up. As in, Parker, et.al. going to a bad place or worse. (I look forward to this). The fricking drunk should not be excluded from Darwin's inevitable chopping block. Killing the freak then would have US soaring by now.

It would be really nice if there were some specifics to support the allegations. Personally I'd love to get some concrete evidence that I could take to the media. Right now you're in the same credibility bucket as apollo and that's not good. I know from other contacts that there is some "Meat on the Bones" here. Problem is no one is willing to go public out of fear I guess.

So enlighten us clubster

Put your name on it and see how long your keep your job.

Really, someone who continues working at a job they try so hard to get fired from is evidence of a disqualifying mental illness. Get help.
