The MEC unanimously passed Resolution #05-67 (NWA MEC Statement of Goal). This resolution states, “ …
THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED the NWA MEC continues to urge NWA AMFA and NWA management to meet and come to terms on a new agreement which will be consistent with the goal of providing “Safe Harborâ€￾ for NWA while protecting the interests of NWA’s AMFA members and all NWA employee groups, and

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED the NWA MEC maintains that the long-term health of NWA is best achieved by NWA reaching mutually acceptable negotiated agreements with all its union employees, and

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED the NWA MEC maintains that achieving these agreements will require all NWA unions to acknowledge financial reality and to achieve needed cost restructuring, but will also require NWA management to avoid “overreachingâ€￾ in their demands, and

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED the NWA MEC directs the MEC Chairman to convey this message and this resolution directly to both AMFA leadership and senior NWA management, and

BE IT FINALLY RESOLVED the NWA MEC directs the MEC Chairman to continue working with all NWA unions and NWA stakeholders to promote negotiated agreements to achieve the goals set in MEC Resolution #03-26 and protect the long-term interests of NWA employees.â€￾

BLah, BLah BLah, Blah...

my opinion and translation of resolution...

THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED
, that the Pilot's exhuberant sacred cow pensions are all that matters to this work group.

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that ALL employee groups should sacrifice without strike support by this Pilot group, so that the sacred cow pensions can be slavaged for the Pilot Work Group.

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that ALL Pilots that successfuly reach a wealthy retirement fund on the backs of other work groups at NWA, shall not have any guilt or remorse while spending and living lavishly as the other work groups suffer without sufficient pay and medical benefits to raise their families.

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that this action is taken by the NWA Pilot Group as other Pilot work groups at other carriers have also resolved to implement similar positions regarding Pilot Sacred Cow Pensions.

SO LET IT BE WRITTEN, SO LET IT BE DONE
