Notice To Ibt/iam Mech And Related:

Dell this battle is no where near over - just maybe we get get this information from some of the IAM membership that is not intimidated by the IAM Reps. Having been in that position I am familiar with thier tactics and have enough backbone to tell them enough is enough.

I do have other things to do during the day other than sit on the computer - never make the mistake that I am afraid to make a reply to you. I do not fear your backwoods inbreeding.
I have been a member of the IAM for 17 years and I'm not afraid of any of them. If you wnat a copy of the contract I'll send you one.
🙄

iamsocool - no thanks I have my own already

Dell - All union differences aside I do hope that one day we can meet face to face, shake hands, sit down and laugh at all this over a brew

I don't need your help!!!!

And stop adding the attched images, (edited by moderaotr)!!!!!!!!!!
Hey...so cool fool..Dell is just trying to point out some facts for your review....At least be a kind soul...Be grateful someone is trying to shed light on a very sensitive issue.....

For you cool-fool

The one thing you have to remember and have seem to forgotten is the Membership at US Airways ratified it, they had the terms and all relevant information two weeks prior to the vote and a rep was at every single ratification to answer any questions or concerns the membership might have.

Bottom line the member approved and knew it was the lesser of two evils. And you ibt people have not lived through two bankruptcies, major disputes and threats of liquidation that US/East employees have.

When you are in bankruptcy the company has all the leverage.

This and the several other IBT versus IAM threads should immediately be closed and all record of their existence be destroyed. This debacle of infighting and grief would make a sane person comptemplating a job in a unionized shop run screaming from the building vowing never to join a union.
Nothing like getting "facts" from the real people who live it. Why remove and destroy the truth.

For once, I have to agree with PITMTC.

its a goodthing i'm insane. thank god unions help the weak keep their jobs

will the unions try to reopen the contract(s) to se about changes either before the merger is completed or during it or after the whole integration is done?

theres no way in hell the company will agree to any of that as they wrenched cost savings and such until 2009...the reorganization plan, which all the creditors and the judge signed off on, is totally based on these savings.so don't let anyone try to fool you that they'll open the contract if you vote for them.
givebacks was part of reorganization, merger was part too.....ring a bell now??
how can anyone change these parameters which would violate the agreement with fed courts??
expect IAM,like it or not to get the nod on numbers alone....
