yes, employees do travel for free on both the mainline and the express.
however, you should know that the express does about 60% or more of the actual flying as the old mgmt believed was the way to go. good luck! I think the new mgmt is going to have parents of employees pay $15 one way depending on where the dest is. if it is hawii or europe i am not sure but think it is 50 or 75 bucks.

USAirways mainline employees travel completely free space available except for international destinations where you have to pay for taxes. The new policy which was just announced gives travel benefits to new employees 30 days after your start date. Parents pay $15 domestic and $40 for hawaii and international routes and must pay security fees and taxes. Express employees flying on mainline are subject to a lower boarding priority than mainline employees. I am not sure if express does the reverse for their employees and gives their workers higher priority. If you have more questions go ahead and post them and I'd be glad to answer them.

Just one minor correction. Wholly-Owned Express employees (Piedmont and PSA) travel at the same boarding priority as mainline employees.
