Now that we've lost our TravelUS site and must use the NRTP, I must comment that the old Piedmont/USAir CATCREW scheduling software (which we've been using with little change since the 1980s...and still do) is downright ELEGANT compared to the NRTP.  
 
FCFS is a pain in the butt.
NRTP is just as painful.
 
Does the AA IT department still use keypunch operators?

You have no idea how technically backward your beloved AA is.  You just haven't been out in the world to see what others are capable of.  Delta will eat AA's lunch.  Bet on it.

I do remember in the IAM contract at LUS we had language that specifically had DOH for that   I remembered there was a grievance but I doubt it has been settled  or if it has no one has mentioned it.

How many of you people ever tried seniority boarding? Ive done both being from america west and us airways. Seniority was soo much less stress not scrambling around to drop what your doing tocheck in 24hrs prior THEN only to find out your #5 or lower on the list because everyone else hit the button at the same time. Like I say if it was that much better other airlines would follow.

How can that be?   I laugh hilariously all the time.  You westholes are a non-stop circus.  The PHX fish bowl is chock  full of clownfish swimming in constant angry little circles.  I think they're finally realizing the bowl itself is shrinking, too, and there's not a dang thing they can do about it!
