New Uniforms Pictures

Personally I think the dress looks like what my great aunt was wearing when they buried her. Then throw in the "Whoosh" scarf and we're back in the 60's....all we need is go-go boots !!!

I absolutely hate that dress. When I tried it on it fit in all the right places but it just looked horrible! I looked like a frumpy lunchroom lady. BTW, it was the smallest size they had so it's not like I am big or anything. It's the dress. I could alter it, put on a scarf, jewelry, high heels, sweater, anything but it still wouldn't make it look presentable on me. I'm sure it will look better on others but never on me.

I haven't received my coat yet but I am dreading wearing it now. If it's as bad as you guys are saying, I will definitely complain and continue to wear the coat I currently wear. The fashion police can give me all the tickets in the world. I don't care. They don't pay me enough to look like crap and to freeze to death and get sick from having to stand out it the cold.

The uniforms came today in a big heavy box !!! I'm too skinny to look good in the dress I'm going to need the company to pay for me some , um, implants.

Ok, I'm getting really nervous now. I haven't gotten 1 piece (I called Twin Hill last week and they said "it is being picked") yet. The thing I'm nervous about is that everyone is saying that the uniform looks nothing like what they tried on. Now I know everyone has different taste and I will be the one to decide how it looks on me but I kind of liked what I tried on and if it's some totally different color and fit when it gets here I'm going to be pretty unhappy.

:bleh:
Ok, here's another Debbie Downer opinion for ya. The blue button down shirts look like the shirts they wear at Arby's. "Howdy partner, would you like somethin' to wet yer whistle or can I have Elly Mae here skeer you up a mess a' sumthin' from the back". The uniform is a flop but there ARE a few pieces to throw together a uniform descent enough to show u for the "Greatest show on earth".
   RRRRRaaRaaaRAAAAAAAAA!! Close up on Debbie Downer! I actually would love to serve Arby's onboard, better than the crap we serve! Dinner time!! WOhooo!! :p

The one you wear now is fabulous. :)

What type of uniform winter coat do you currently have on the East? Color?

A wise man told me once "If it ain't from Scotland... It's crap!"

OK, I just received my shipment of uniforms as well. Most of the family thought that for the most part, it was ok looking. Until I put on the all-weather coat. I can't tell you how cheap it FEELS. I don't know how it's going to keep us warm, it's sooo thin! It does have an insert, but it only covers to your waist. This was not available at the fit line I went to. In all seriousness, it looks like a giant Hefty bag. I am a Larger male, Not Fat, just fluffy, but this jacket makes me look huge, and square. sort of like Uncle Fester looks in his long coat. There is no structure to this coat. There are no shoulders, it goes straight from the collar to the cuff with one piece of material, for the sleeves, and did I mention the feel of the material. YUCK! THIS WILL NOT KEEP PEOPLE WARM!! I like to be compliant in my uniform, but I have to say, I probably won't be wearing this coat, I'll need a winter coat in the north, not an ugly all-weather coat!! Everyone needs to complain to the company about this piece. It's just not going to work for us.

lodoboy- the all weather coat WAS available for you to try on at the fitline. So you had an opportunity to view it and try it on to see if it was for you. You can always send it back and get credit, but unfortunately it will be the only all weather coat you will be able to wear. I am sure the company will revisit the jacket once they evaluate what is or not working.

I've received everything but the coat and a scarf and from the sound of it I will be returning the coat. For some reason I too was under the impression that it was a wool coat. Clearly I was a little overwhelmed at the fitting and wasn't listening. Fashion police and tickets be da*mned because if the coat is really as sucky as everyone says I will continue to wear my old coat. I refuse to freeze or look like crap just to
make inflight mismanagement happy. They can't even fix the myriad of problems we have right now, are they really going to put THAT much effort into ticketing us for uniform infractions? You know, don't answer that because I realize that yes, they would that is how screwed up they are with their priorities. <sigh>

You are aware that there WERE some pieces NOT available to try on at different fittings right? I mean if many recall the fittings went ALL so well. I myself did get to see it and thought it looked like something Sherlock Holmes wore. I will continue to wear my London Fog wool coat right along with many others. ;)
