New Service, PBI-LAS 4X's a week.......

It appears to be an East flight number.

Positive move though in either case.

I hope it sells well enough to stay.

Anything that increases aircraft utilization can reduce costs.

My Best to you all...

Didn't National Airlines try this a few yrs ago and failed in this market. I hope US can make in on this route. Do you there is enough traffic for it, considering there is already 2 757s to FLL and a flt to MIA?

Good to see US connecting some of of the dots between the East and West. The flights to FLL and MIA are usually rather full (especially on M/T/F/Su), so it should do well.

On the other hand, the LAS-BNA is not in the schedule past the first week of January, so either the schedule hasn't been fully uploaded or it's being discontinued. I wouldn't be surprised if it is discontinued since the load factors haven't been that great and WN already flies the route 4 times daily.

Yeah .anything above 699 is an East flight #

That and HP does not fly to PBI, so it would be a pain to have a Shares computer for 1 flight.

Also, any of us regulars to PBI know that it reverts back to a Boeing station during the summer, so who knows if this sucker will be seasonal or not.

As for me, I'm just glad they've begun to realize that: a)not everyone wants to fly to FLL and b)they're doing something about making it easier to get from the West Coast to Florida now that the early morning bank from CLT-South Florida is gone. I was all set to move all my LAX-PBI flying to CO via IAH.

They should try bringing IND LAS back. I know they have tried it before, but ATA is gone now. They should also start BDL LAS since Delta quit it. looking at the schedule, both routes would be possible without having to change any departure/arrival times. They would just have to switch the IND flt from a Boeing to an Airbus.

Looking forward to more PBI expansion, it's long overdue! Hopefully a daily PHX roundtrip is in the plans as well.

When Anthony Mule visited the South Florida stations a few months back, he mentioned and I quote, "We don't have enough flights at PBI." So hopefully this LAS flight in February is just the beginning. PBI goes to 18 flights a day next month, up from 14.
