Actually, more like an oligarchy.

The point you ignored is that if we're not satisfied with the direction AOL takes all we have to do is stop donating and they'll go away. Your dictatorial union extorts money from us yet still fails to represent us.

It is a condition of employment. Refuse to meet your obligation, poof, problem solved just like with AOL.

There are ways to correct what you see as problems. Cactusboy is trying. One of his buddies that is helping was going to try and recall cleary, but decided it was better to keep him in I guess. Again, you don't really want to correct it, you want the Nic above all else. At least be honest.

Go back and read you post and see if you can see how utterly stupid it is!!!!!!!

In the west eyes he is an awful leader, always makes the wrong decision at first, YET you do not support his recall! That the west's problem. You cannot see beyond the Nic and tie everything to it. You claim that the east does the same with DOH, but you are wrong. We have staffed the other committees, we have safety concerns, we can separate DOH from everything else.

At least tell the truth. You don't want to be represented by USAPA. You want them to ignore an mistreat you so you can support DFR II. You just can't help but whine about it.

Everything you do is centered around DOH. USAPAs C&R specifically states the DOH is the only acceptable integration method. So unless USAPA goes completely all we have is a union whose sole purpose is to seek DOH. So much so that they use safety to try and fain leverage.

We support Cleary because if anyone can polarize and ruin USAPA from within it's him. And it's working.

He is one walking mistake after another. This injunction will rid him of what little leverage he may have had and the LOA 93 loss will push your fence-sitters over the edge. Their tolerance for Cleary is close to being maxed out.

Unless USAPA changes it's C&R's and accepts binding arbitration, then this is where it stays.

You can have your separate ops. But if you want a contract and a raise, it'll be with Nic and only Nic.

What do you mean by "just like with AOL?"

And getting rid of Cleary only puts in another eastie with DOH desires. Nothing changes.

Okay, I'll be honest. I want the arbitrated seniority list AND a competant union leader.

I wanted to be 6'5", good looking, rich and a FAIR integration. Boo hoo.

You have a better chance of getting your wish, in another 3 to 7 years, I'd guess.

Well, a lot of those experts are not members. The rest, I don't know, do you? Are you saying that they are not used because they are anti-doh?

Do you agree tbat every captain you have flown with has been on a job action?
I think they are not used because they question some of the things Cleary and USAPA are doing.

Only half of them taxi slow, etc.

I guess that all depends on what the bargaining position is for Section 22. It can change, just as every other section can. I guess in theory if Section 22 were not in the CBA, well then you could cast it in stone, like your birthdate........

Yeah, but the chances of me becoming 6'5", good looking, or rich are very slim!

Thanks. So that proves that not everything the east pilots do is for DOH.

Geez, keep up. Ex 717 said that if he didn't like AOL's actions he could stop paying them. I said the same for USAPA, he just wouldn't have a job.

I hate to break this to you, but pretty much whatever the name is on the door, it will most likely be an eastie running it, for now.

You guys are like crabgrass, handle one bunch, another pops up.

There are a bunch of east guys, and some within USAPA that do not solely live to attain DOH. Many, if not most can set it aside for other issues. Your post shows, again, that you cannot set the Nic aside for other issues.

As I've said before, I will take LOA 93 and no Nic vs. Nic and what is on the table now. You see to agree with the reverse, so really we agree!

No, I don't want to have to pay dues to an organization that refuses to try and improve my contract.

I think an argument could be made that Single Carrier Status for the pilot craft does not exist and we should be allowed to have independent representation. I'd pay for west pilots to advocate for west issues and to hell with the east.

So it's not just like AOL. I dont lose my job if I stop donating to AOL.

And you made my point perfectly - it will always be an eastie running the union trying ti get DOH. It's pointless to support USAPA and Cleary is a perfect tool (in more wats than one) to break USAPAs back.

Have you read Bradford's latest rant. He's not a big fan of Cleary or his own creation.
