New day dawning for airline management

Don't ya just love that Obama! (are ya from Georgia?)

Is that a putdown if he/she is? Of course if he/she feels differently than you then surely he/she has several AKA's, is a management plant, union buster, alien, etc, or is a Southern idiot. Or perhaps it is because DAL is not highly unionized; therefore all DAL employees are stupid, or just GA based DAL employees?

You guys, I mean y'all, slay me with your clique of labor rights vigilantes. Maybe the truth is in the middle but you guys are always right, er, I mean left.

If that was a putdown, it's no different than the racist crap that has been flying around about your new Messiah.

It was "meant" as Georgia (Delta's home) is one of the most anti union places in the country...on top of voting against Obama 2 to 1.

Don't tell me you don't like Obama...you from Georgia too? (love is in the air)

I'm sorry...I can't help there you. You need to do your own civics learning, I'm not here to teach the uninformed about what the Sec. of the Trans. can and can not do or influence. He did put the kabosh on their little union busting changes by the NMB...did ya catch that one? Fun to watch wasn't it!

As for Mighty Oberstar and the merger, not even he could stop the Hedge Fund owners of both companies...AND the payoff of NW/DL executives. (money and greed is a powerful incentive)

I wouldn't brag too much if I were you, I guess you haven't seen who's running the company. (how's that working out for ya?)

This is the type of childish retort that I expected from you when you are confronted with your own words and found that you guessed wrong with the Oberstar theory. I told this forum that the merger was a done deal months ago and I was right. So far I am pleased with the people who are running my company. If you dont, you may leave at any time.

I voted for experience, as one African American put it, substance over symbolism. Hard to believe, just hopin' for the best. Let's chat in 3.5 years, see if one of our stances has changed.

Oberstar's name is in the hat for Sec. DOT!

Look out baby!

Sec. Labor: Former Rep. David Bonior

Oh boy...the pig party at the top is over!

(During his tenure in office, Bonior was the public face of Democratic opposition to the North American Free Trade Agreement (NAFTA), and was known for his tenacity in opposing Republican Speaker of the House Newt Gingrich, against whom Bonior filed more than seventy-five ethics charges."

Yeah baby!

OOOoooo................Are you talking about "James-I-Will-Stop-This-Merger-Oberstar" ?

I'm scared now !

We feel the same about those that don't like our soon to be Unionized Delta/NW. Of course you feel good about what they are doing...they've been there five minutes (some are too dumb to consider their past behavior over the last 20 years because they are so brainwash they still believe this is their Delta of 1985).

My Oberstar guess was about as wrong as some thinking this is Delta (old) not a company run by Hedge Funds and NW.

Childish? "If you don't, you may leave at any time." (mommy, I want my bottle back, these NW people won't do what I say!)

Would that "symbolism" be anything like "the OLDEST erratic man ever to run/token dumb woman"

What is hard to believe? I am just glad this country has finally arrived to the point it should have been 200 years ago. Ignorance and greed can be a difficult toxic potion to over come.
