I just looked at AirFleets and they listed 2 being delivered in May, Are these 767 replacements?

buf they are most likely the 76 replacement i believe all of the 330s that we will get this yr are intended to replace the 76

They have been purchased to fly SIN-CLT nonstop.

Registration N700AA and N701AA.
uh, the topic is A330s which should be delivered after the merger.....
First of all your spreading misinformation.

And your flamebaiting.

They were purchased to fly any route and not an empty ferry flight from SIN-CLT unlike DL who flies their planes halfway around the world for outsourced maintenance.

And I believe two 767s are going to be retired later this year, so they could be replacement planes, or they could be used for growth if they choose to extend the 767 leases.

And they were ordered years ago and will not carry an AA registrations, try again WT the master of taking threads off topic.

THIS IS NOT A THREAD ABOUT DL. KEEP *IT* OUT OF THIS THREAD.

Shall we list US' EMPTY ferry flights or the amount of dollars US spends on outsourced maintenances, which incidentally is the highest among any of the US network carriers? (and no, nobody besides you buys your definition of outsourced maintenance)

DO you have facts about where they will fly, N700AA? Only facts.

**YOU** may be right, robbed.

new one flying out of CLT now tail number 287 I believe and no mention of AA on it

thanks, Rat. What would be the registration and not just tail number.
The chances are actually very tiny it would have the registration 700AA.

He is an stupid, just trying to take it off thread, just ignore him.

At US we only use registration numbers as tail #s.

After the merger there were similar registrations so they decided the widebodies would be AY.

Just like US had VJ for the DC9s and we had one 757 with VJ for the registration and US also used AU which is the symbol of gold.

If you're going to call someone stupid, can you at least use the correct grammar?

an stupid

or I'm going to have to call the grammar police on you.

"we only use...?" I thought you were retired.

Maybe the same reason Pinnacle has a number of CRJ-200's that end with -AY?
and some other US airline that has never flown to Malaysia has -MH registrations on a fleet of int'l aircraft that were delivered new to that carrier.

the whole 700 number thing seems out of sorts to me all the current A330's are number in the high 200's mstarting with I believe AC-279 or 278

I believe that all of the US 330's end in AY, as do some of the 767's. They don't end in US or UW because someone else already used that reg #. Im sure that many of us know that NW used the US letters on their AC. To the best of my knowledge, DL didn't change them over.
As for the 2 newest US 330's, they are 286-287AY.
