More Outsourcing - F/a Beware!

You need to find a new source for information. Your information is an absolute lie. You should be ashamed for posting such blatant, erroneous "so called" facts.

There is no training currently being discussed now or in the future.

We will liquidate the same day that any employee group strikes.

So are there plans to liquidate going on?

There sure are not plans to join the union groups in an equal pay cut!!!

I'd bet a box of Krispy Kreme doughnuts the company IS preparing to contract out some mainline agents.

Now, whether that preparation is to be executed regardless of anything, or merely contingent, is beyond me.

BUt I do know of a case where, all of a sudden, the local airport employee uniforms suddenly match U uniforms, the airport is explicitly searching for new channels of revenues, and some U talent has shifted over to the airport.

Coincidence? You be the judge.

Hawk stated that no training was being discussed, but Hawk didn't state that there were no contacts made with a contracting firm for outsourcing F/A positions. I love Semantics, the pure study of true meaning in the English language. ;)

...and, no, I do not work for this or any airline, I'd sooner slit my wrists considering the way employees are currently being treated.

I thought Sherry came from PSA? I have a book about the history of F/As, and there's a picture of her sitting in the downstairs lounge of an L1011 with two Middle eastern gentlemen on PSA's "Around The World Tour" trying to sell the L10 to other airlines. She's fully PSA'd out with the hat and "wavy stripe" dress. It said she was also the LAX base manager after the merger. Then she went to Legend Airlines in Dallas before returning to US.

She was at the contracting company after Legand shut down. If I'm correct Legend shut down early 2001 or late 2000. Sherry then when to the company that handled contract workers for several foreign airlines
