Mesa Eyeballing Express And Shuttle..

i've heard over and over that NWA is very interested in our PHL operations.
Is it true and if so, would that play a role in any kind of assetts sales?

"...i've heard over and over that NWA is very interested in our PHL operations...."

I sent Richard Anderson (NWA CEO) an e-mail asking him about shuttle routes, PHL, etc. He replied that NW has NO interest in the shuttle routes, and he has basically written off PHL to WN even though they have yet to land there.....

The irony of ironies...

I seem to recall on this board and others the very mention of a WO pilot flying for Mesa/JO would result in a mass exodus.

How does it feel now? Your looking into the blackness and seeing the devil himself. Suks, doesn't it? You folks are getting a taste as to what it's like to walk a mile in our shoes. Ask any CCAir pilot what it feels like, or any AirMiddy/Mesa pilot who gave up too much to stop Freedom.

You have no idea how bad this can get. Wonder how many Mesa pilot's welcome you with open arms after years of downright rudeness and arrogance on the WO's part.

So what you gonna do? Tell your wife/kids that you'll quit because now your a contract carrier like all the rest? Can't face your friends/family? become #xxx of xxxx?

Welcome to Mesa He11.

ps. no meal vouchers

and i thought I was bitter

oh very big of you turtle, takes a real man  to kick someone when they're down

..Bitter or Big is not the issue....The man speaks the gospel truth on this subject.

I only hope you don't have to find out how true it is the hard way. :(

bitter? you bet. do I speak the truth? Yes.

do I wish to kick the employees of the WO's? nope. I am speaking to the pilot's who have shown nothing but contempt to me and my crew.

Man, do you think you could find any more threads to post this in?

I've read this thing at least 3 times.

As for me, you have no idea what I think of you or any other pilot. I do have a great deal of sympathy for what the CCAir pilots went through.

On the other hand, do I want to sit in the CLT crew room and listen to the MESA pilots complain about their new contract? NO!

They are the ones that voted it in with something like 85% in favor.

Do I like the concessions that we voted in favor of? No. But I can assure you that you have never heard me sitting in the crew room complaining about it. The majority has spoken and I am willing to live up to my end of the deal. Now you may hear me complaining about contract abuses by our management but I'm sure you haven't heard me complain about our contract itself.
