Once there was a link to a page that listed and compared the top 10-12 maintenance pay scales. It was quite interesting to see where we sat in comparison. I have now missplaced this info, and was wondering if anyone here still has it.

This is the most up to date scale I am aware of.
Note that US is a 10 year top out while the majority of the other carriers top out after your 5th or 6th year.

yes, the Industry -leading ,pacesetter...IAM.....idiots, a-holes,and morons....

You people seem to forget that was language in a final offer given to you to vote on from the company after Judge Mitchell abrogated the CBA, and you all ratified, look in the mirror and blame yourself.

I voted no then walked away!

Oh! 700, you're my hero!!

I say a 50% increase in mechanics total compensation package is called for, as a starting point. Remember, we strive to perform to the level of what's expected of us. And compensation is a dog-gone good indicator of what that expectation is.

A 20% increase at date of signing would come in JUST under AirTran pay. Any thing less being brought up for a vote, IMO would be a failure on the IAM's fault and an insult to all working men and women if it were to be voted in by the rank and file.

Only correction would be AA-TWU.

Also note that all top out in 6 or less years except for DL which is 8.5 years.

That is an awful large amount of cash that never makes it to your pocket while waiting to top out. With that said if the IAM brings back anything less then a 6-year top out should be voted down.

Alaska Airlines (AK) is AMFA and top out in 8 years @ 5584.37 a month or $67,012 a year not including shift differential.
