Kirby honors his word and performs for CLT

Its so easy to slam uppermanagement over and over but when they correct mistakes this board dries up on the Thank you part.

Kirby we Thank you for showing us the new LCC does listen and will rethink and rework a bad decision.

Those CLT F/A's did a wonderful job presenting the facts and not just bitching and crying. They came up with facts and resolutions professionally. There was a dicrepancy in the numbers and another way to work it. Congratulations your self advocacy worked.

It will take baby steps to build trust and moral but, when good prevails it should be recognised.

Again, Mr. Kirby Thank you.

Are you suggesting that US Aviation has more power than we could imagine?

In that case, perhaps it was all of the negative perception on the board to the lack of accomplishment that forced changes to be made.

However it worked out, I think the thank yous should go to the F/A's who pushed this issue at the meeting in CLT on 3/22.

For his part, I congratulate Mr. Kirby for not doing as his counterpart DoUgIe has done. If Scott Kirby is going to run the airline on a day-to-day basis, and actually change the morale for the better and create a culture of trust and goodwill, then I'm all for it.

I believe this to be true. For one post, how many people does it touch just from us telling others? Mgmt has commented before regarding internet rumor control. I would mostlikely not have sat and watched that meeting had it not been for this board. And I've passed on the word and benefited from things I've heard on hear personally.
I am very proud of my CLT co-workers and have learned from them too.
If Kirby's decision came from opening up to hearing us as a partner than he has started a change in culture, trust and goodwill. It has to start somewhere so this is good ay!

I don't think Sabre is coming back, so maybe you might channel your anger towards fixing what is the "new reality".

Have you seen the "Res Migration 2" PDF on theHub? It looks like they have ~11 pages of things they are fixing in the new system. I hope they do it quickly, and it becomes a system you feel comfortable with. You agents are doing an amazing job, both with the new system and the short staffing.

Your dog didn't go to a farm to live with a bunch of other dogs, it was hit by a bus on I-10. It's not coming back.

Thank you, that was very nice of you to say that. We are trying. When you go from being outstanding in your job, to being nothing short of pathetic, well you get the picture! The reason some of these flights are getting out on time is because we are not "fully" working the flight properly. We can't take care of our Elite fliers the way we used to, can't get families together let alone those with small children, so we are now dumping it back onto the flight attendants instead of trying to work the problems out pre-departure.

Anyway, I am VERY VERY happy for our F/A's in CLT. Great Job! You guys were AWESOME on the webcast!
