john is a very nice guy. and he speaks only the truth !!!! so if you have never met him keep your comments to your self . he cares very much about what is going on with the company. and who is doing good ? i might ask. give me a break and don't get me started. in the beginning i was one of those who lookied at our managenent with a positive eye. not any more. its crazy that they think that they will get more concessions from any one. in fact i think that they know that and that they want to go into bk so that they can edited everyone . it will be so much easier for them to get what they want in bk and they know it. so one way or another we are SCREWED. no matter . i am gone next month pursuing bigger and better things. i have been at airways for 8 yrs as a f/a. i love the people i am gonna miss them terribly. its sad what has become of this company what management not the employees is doing. i understand that the economy is bad and that changes need to be made. but comiong after the employees as a scape goat all the time gets really old.StatioRat said:I’m not sure if he has been fired or not.
However, I must say I’ve never talked to him personally, put reading his thoughts of US Airways and the people within the company makes me wonder if he really cares or if he is only out to put everyone down that’s trying to make good for the company. I’ve always thought of him as a Monday morning quarterback.
John McCorkle is John McCorkle - a flight attendant.SalesGuyCCY said:So, who is he??? Anyone!?!?
I do not see any malice in his personal statement...PineyBob said:Three days ago, I sent out an email announcing that Neil Cohen had resigned as Chief Financial Officer of US Airways. In that email, I wrote of a comment that was made to me by a pilot in the Philadelphia crew room a couple of months ago when he stated "Mr. Cohen is probably the first Jewish CFO who doesn't know what he's earning." This comment was made because the pilot obviously felt that Mr. Cohen was being - what's the word on Capitol Hill, disingenuous? - when Mr. Cohen stated during the company's bankruptcy proceedings that didn't know what his compensation package was worth. For the record, I personally feel Mr. Cohen was being disingenuous as well. What CFO is actually stupid enough to not know what he/she is earning[/color]
As I understand it, Mr Cohen was no longer with UAIR when the newletter was sent.usairways_vote_NO said:Was Mr Cohen an employee of Usairways at the time the comments were made?
