JCBA Negotiations and updates for AA Fleet

In an industry which has a high degree of being operationally leveraged (the percentage of fixed costs vs. total costs), the possibility of losing money is never far away. I haven't examined AA's break even point of load factor, but long ago the difference between being profitable or losing money was a few basis basis points.

However, DP must be feeling pretty good with pre-tax earnings margins of over 12%, so he is not worried about losing a few percentages on load factors causing a net loss.

I remember in the 80s USair being highly profitable with load factors in the mid to upper sixties of course back then Bob was so young he was having difficulties installing a generator light on his ten speed

Yeah. Especially after surviving your heart issue.

Here's something ironic. I have my "issue" and I quit smoking cold turkey that day, one month later MIA Airport bans all smoking on the Ramp. (Not that most people are listening to that anyway)

WeAA as you know here in MIA there has been no scheduled S80 service since 3/31/2005, why do you have the S80 tug attachments? I thought only a few gates on the East end had markings for S80 along with D48(?) on the other end of the concourse. Do they still have A300, DC10 and F100 tugs too?

Sorry man

Financially savvy, Common sense astute and Mechanically retarded.

Grammatically accurate too I should add.

Weez is and according to the rules anyone can post in any thread.
so the weez is over in the SW forum discussing AA fleet issues with another poster,? care to share that link?
Btw if you're going to be referring to forum rules you may want to gloss over that section on staying on topic within a thread

I agree, I have nothing to contribute to this forum in any manner, however the weez continues to sneak in other forums and deposit his own brand of droppings just for the entertainment dividends only.
