Multiple items in that back and forth exchange you could have given your side of the story if it made you comfortable? Not saying as a certainty I would necessarily believe you though since I have called you a liar, but I would take it into consideration (If it made sense)

The things you do and say that don't make sense to me is where things go astray.

I'd personally prefer not to engage in the stuff anymore myself but maybe you're finally ready to seek or need some absolution?

You're the one that keeps bringing things up and making accusations based on what you've heard. Good to see you're opening your eyes and realizing the rumors you hear don't square up under scrutiny.

Your handlers don't make sense.

Actually those "rumors" square up absolutely perfectly for the most part since you don't even try to refute them. And in many cases you just outright ignore them altogether.

Doesn't matter as the door is probably closing soon anyway?

Tick Tock.

Jajajajajjaja. Says the guy that changes the subject.

By the way, ""do you always rely so heavily on rumors as fact? If you do it's not a very intelligent way to live your life."

Carry on. Most can see the contradictions in your posts.

I wouldn't find any humor in a nego. cmte. member trying to sell a concessionary contract to his members. He should very much get drilled in front of the members why he would bring out a concessionary package period. That is, if he does bring one to you in the break rooms, they all should have to answer to the membership as it was promised by many (including Parker) that your contract will be industry leading.
Just that article will be concessionary. The LUS health care is gone with the new JCBA unfortunately and we didn't get any trade off for it other than a few quarters added to the IAMNPF. But that will be cut and taken by the pension bosses. And the part time language is the big concession from the TWU. Seems the unions want more dues payers. The total package won't be concessionary though. I already posted the AIP cheat sheet. People are free to believe what they want.

Unlimited or no Part Time caps in Fleet? Sorry Tim there is no way I see A. Garcia or M. Mays bringing that to any of the TWU Presidents without expecting a few black eyes and busted noses in return. Guaranteed no vote from me too. And I DO NOT care if I was Grandfathered in or not either. I wouldn't sell out the future like that.

You might want to try again on that piece.

swamt just to put something into context for you. The last time Tim was spouting off on all things that had been agreed to for a contract was the IAM Fleet contract for USAirways. What he spouted off and many here remember still all too well was at the end of the day complete BS and entirely wrong and off the mark.

I've also been told he's done this in the past with other IAM represented groups. It could be how he gets his personal kicks or something.

The """"ONLY"""" person that I've seen """"ANYWHERE"""" mention this AIP is Tim Nelson who is a agent/clerk on the Ramp in ORD only. I haven't read or talked to anyone else in the entire WORLD who has confirmed anything he's written?????????

swamt do you always rely so heavily on rumors as fact? If you do it's not a very intelligent way to live your life.

(And no. No one officially is going to respond to the almost daily "pathetic" flood of "sometimes" ridiculous rumors. If they did they become pathetic too)

[swamt] WeAA, "do you always rely so heavily on rumors as fact? If you do it's not a very intelligent way to live your life."

No I never rely 100% on rumors. However rumors are out there directly tied to this asso. not keeping their membership in the know. By keeping contract nego's hidden from them is what starts all rumors and totally misinformed members will start to believe said rumors until they are brought into the know. I have told you guys time and time again about this. Not saying Tim is 100% correct here, but I will tell you one thing, you guys can call it rumors all you want to, to try and keep the membership from getting any more pissed, just like the asso. did by promising and guaranteeing a vote on this asso. so not to get the TWU and IAM shown the door. I predict the exact same thing here. They will promise no concessions until BAM!!! They slide that new JCBA in front of you to vote on and finally read all the concessions they were hiding from the membership this whole time, trust me it's coming. I just cannot believe you guys are still so trustworthy of this union (asso.) remember it was created by the TWU and the IAM with both of them having very, very problematic histories. That's fine, you all believe they are just rumors ok. When you finally see and read the concessions coming to you I will sit back and tell you, "told you so" just like I did with the asso. vote, as well as the pensions. Just keep believing this asso., incredible. You guys are just like the abused wife/girlfriend who keeps going back for more. Cue video of college hazing of member getting paddled and saying, "thank sir may I have another" over and over and over again...

I know. And some here will just keep the blinders on forever. Ya know, they are just rumors until they are verified at vote time.

Tim, please. If anything is lower than what they have currently is a concession, period. If LUS has better health care coverage at a better cost than the LAA folks and they go to the TWU/AA health care, that's a concession. As you state the US health care is gone.
With or without the health care, as you call it, traded off, you guys should easily get your pension dollars increased without any trade off, period.
You are correct about the future pension cuts. teamsters once again are soon to get another 30% reduction in their pensions as I just read in an article, and yes, it was forced not voted on once again.
If they are proposing bringing in P/T to do what F/T positions are or were doing, then yes, that is a concession not only now but also continues into the future.
Tim, if any part of the contract is concessionary then your JCBA will be considered concessionary. If you and others are looking at it as not concessionary because only 3,4,5 or 6 articles are concessionary out of 30 articles, then you are seeing the contract without blinders on, your just trying to justify to yourself that you are ok with those concessions while other members will not be. Just because something may not affect you directly in the contract offer does not mean it's not concessionary to someone else down the ladder that it will affect for a very long time to come. That's right in line with the IGM'ers.

Of COURSE there will be concessions. 100% positive of that. Even a philosophical change in language can mean a concession. The swap shift language being put into the contract if it's like the way the PSA have it will be a concession on the TWU side of the fence.

Put PTers into the mix for OT like in the IAM contract is a concession for TWU. Raise the Medical and that's a concession for IAM guys.

But when AA filed for BK I was earning a base of $48,000. Now I'm earning a base of $64,000. With a raise and shift dif put back in I expect to go up to $67,000? (Now add Holidays, Vacation, Retirement, etc to those financial calculations)

So will I call items (Inside) my contract concessionary/adjustments, yes absolutely. Will my overall total value compensation package be anywhere near concessionary? Oh HELL NO!!!!!!

You will NEVER get this perfect picture you're looking for. And each day that passes (Tick Tock) is another day you are losing more and more that you will again NEVER get back. You continue to fall further and further behind.

At SWA you've already waited 5 years. Should you wait 5 more? Eventually you're going to be retired or worse dead while you wait.

Father Time will never put himself on hold for your wants bro.

BTW I think you made a Freudian slip in your comment? I highlighted it in the box.

Hey ! Does anybody know what's going on with viewing checks on epay ?
Well, it's one of a couple of three things, all rumors...You will no longer be able to view your paychecks in epays, you must guess what you made (concession). They are doing away with Direct Deposit and will send you a check directly
(an industry leading win for the Association). Or, they are outsourcing epays and all our money related matters, something of course Bob thinks the company must do to stay competitive... :)

Oh, they got rid of it. I never said unlimited. But it was a big concession that management got in order to finally have the flexibility it wanted.
Not sure how they are going to sell it to the negotiation committee or local prez but prolly the same way the iam will sell losing lus health care. I recommend that you talk to alex. He knows im sure.
