WeAAz, sadly, not likely to happen. I recall in the early 90's when our local VP complained to maintenance VP about other airlines on our ramp having all work performed by AAers except maintenance.. His reply was something to the effect that it was the company's ramp and they will do what they wish with it. Now our terminal looks more like like the old IAT with 3rd part contracts all over the place. I doubt very much that the company would reverse this trend.

Ever wonder with all those contracts awarded if someone ,somewhere gets their house painted or just a bottle around Xmas time
