And Al if something comes out that's like what you have over on your side for Medical I can give you one word period you'll read from every workgroup in the Association.

PASSED!!!!!!
I doubt any self respected TWU member is going to vote for anything IAM

Why were UAL AMTs so adamantly opposed . The IBT is larger than the IAM therefor must have better rates. You've said it a million times the bigger the company.....

Al I have no clue? I think they already had great rates with the Company and wanted it left alone.

It was a while back now but there was some crap talked about it over on the UAL threads. That and the unknown VEBA was what pissed them off and there was more outsourcing in that first TA.

Maybe I never should have posted that damn link if people are going to get spooked by the ghost they think they saw go past the window?

Yea ok, sure. If you say so.
Weez you would see I'm correct if all the TWU members didn't put you on ignore and have no idea of this subject. Bob isn't going to approve any plan that there is a $50 co-pay for a simple Scabies diagnosis

If it's a good deal the vocal minority will still be just that Al. (IF) we're offered something that I'm unfamiliar with then I'll do my research to make sure I am before I vote on it.

And if it's like what you have now the word doesn't change.

I dont really have an opinion on the iam medical. I know nothing about it but im trying to find contracts that have the iam medical. WeAAsles may be able to help as he is a decent researcher. The only union medical that i came across was proposed with the teamster mechanics at United. There was alot of bait and switch in that language and i felt that united managament got something or allowing the teamster medical. Not sure if it was ever ratified though.

But our contract language will determine if i want it or not, should it be included.
The union would prolly sell it as "hey you are the only group that has a union medical...gosh!"

Found this one in a basic search Tim. 2010 but doesn't this look similar to what you have now? Page 74 down.

Good grab. Ill talk to my buddy over there and see what he says. Their iam pension is structured differently and seems to have a guaranteed benefit unlike ours which says there is no guaranteed benefit promised.

BTW Tim don't forget that link I posted may not have anything to do at all with us getting into a Taft Hartley multi employer Union medical plan anyway. My guess is if you do have an insider telling you anything it's a rep of Ford Harrison and you could have confused your conversation between talk of an IAM Medical with talk of continuing the current IAM rates for the entire collective?

Let's also not forget that the CWA/IBT Agents also have some type of investment in our talks and what we ultimately agree to and pass as far as medical costs. I haven't really delved into their issues or their contract enough to know what that is and aren't interested in researching it either nothing personal to them.

I will say though "IF" a deal does eventually come down that doesn't stick all of us with the LAA current costs, I can't wait to rub a few individuals (who said it won't happen) noses in it.

I don't know, you bought a 10 year old Mustang with rusted quarter panels? Or maybe you were put on "ignore" for the first time, I don't know maybe Fred Flintstone's cat stayed out for the night?

Nope. Wrong. No cookie for you. That was 4 years and almost 9 months now that the great AMFA celebrated the end date of their old contract at SWA and began wasting time trying to get a new one with nothing to show for it so far.

I'm going to leave them in peace over on their threads cause I know they would never dare to come into ours being the little fleas we are.

My football pool pick before they finally give up and are exhausted and beaten into submission to accept whatever SWA management wants from them, 8 years 3 months.

Care to pick a box Al?
