I've been to a few union functions with similar scenarios
I highly doubt you've ever gone to a Union function Al. I don't think any of them have ever been on your Christmas card list personally.

Sure, Ob-La-Di Ob-La-DAHave you been to or witnessed any company functions where that has occurred?
Function? I've been through two bankruptcies, many steward votes and have received many a pocket calendarsI highly doubt you've ever gone to a Union function Al. I don't think any of them have ever been on your Christmas card list personally.
Maybe cause on one end he pays you, on the other end you pay himThe difference between the two, Albert imo is the clappers don't dare correct him. At least at the other end you have guys who will stand up and get called out of order.
What do you all think the chances of getting at least one TA are next week? I kind of thought they would get one a few weeks ago when the leaders stepped in. Surely Vacation and Overtime can't be that difficult to finish.
Does anyone know what else is left besides those, Scope, and Insurance?
Thanks.
If they attach the IAMPF to any of it it may delay a contract for another yearThe Leaders may not be going to announce individual TA's on articles anymore because they probably will work on the remaining issues in bundles.
SCOPE, Insurance, Retirement, Holidays, Sick Time, PT numbers and a few other assorted odds and ends.

Jim Little signed the Association agreement and it showed intent to include us in the IAMPF. Multi employer pensions are a not a good place to be as many have cut benefits and will have to again. What I don't want is AA to put our frozen pension into the IAMPF. We already lost on this deal and I'd hate to lose twice. After having the 401k for a while, I would like to just keep my current pension and put the rest in the 401k. If they try to force us all into the IAMPF, that would not be good unless they sweeten the pot.

Don't be so sure. The IAMNPF is desperate for an influx of money. There are more drawing from it than paying in. The IAM wants our money. Don't make statements like "It won't happen" or "It can't happen."Not happening period.
