JCBA Negotiations and updates for AA Fleet

Al all I've ever wanted from the beginning of this merger is to see us hit the sweet spot for our maximum long term economic value that we could capture.

Reading Delta hit the brakes and only come up to match us 5 months from now tells me we're in that sweet spot now.

About a year ago I was arguing with 2 former TWU Presidents who went through the concessionary negotiations prior to and in the BK. These two individuals were arguing with me that we needed to lock in ASAP because of the threats that are always out there. They had the wrong mindset understandably because of what they had gone through. They essentially were the abused dogs who wince anytime a hand comes towards them.

Had these two individuals been negotiating our JCBA I really believe we would have had that buyers remorse that Rez was talking about because we would have blown our load way too soon like many other groups did. They didn't have the ability to see the Forrest through the trees and they obviously weren't "reading" what the analysts, the market and our CEO even was saying.

Again Al NOW I think we are right perfectly in that sweet spot and maybe have squeezed the Lemon for as much juice as she has?
First you tell me I'm aiming to low and am hurting negotiations now you say the well might be running dry and pretty much say what I was saying. Weez you must be in love again, who is she?

Al I want you to read it with the new glasses that I heard you purchased. And read the next comment as well.

Yes again I do believe we're in that sweet spot. But first we were going to get 7% for not having PS. Then we were given half what other airlines got and our fearless leader knocked the number down to 3%. Half of 7% is not 3% it's 3.5%

Unless we're putting as individuals not counting the total cost of our contract into the conversation we seem to be owed just another tiny drop of juice?

And no I do NOT agree with the notion that we should have to compete against a non union group who has made the choices they made for themselves personally. I'm in a Union (Association) and expect a premium for that.

BTW nice gesture today on the company's part for the two positive space round trip anywhere we fly tickets.

Thumbs up and Bravo to Mr Parker who signed the letter.

As for compensation competition Parker was an advocate of that also, so he reaps what he sows.of course he can play the work rule games. As far as reading glasses unfortunately I'm up to 225 they make me even more awkward and clumsy than I normally am. I would say I break or knock something over in Stop and Shop at least once every two weeks

point made. obviously, aa is not going to guarantee me anything...so, the dl comparison was never valid. the fact that ua blew by dl should change who we are aiming for, +3%.

maybe you also misunderstood my $34.50 as a DOS figure and not as my hoped for future max pay rate. thought it was clear.

I believe the goal is to be ahead of the current front runner when the JCBA is ratified, currently being UA.

There was some confusion on the figure you shared, but it seems to be a much clearer point at this stage.

Off topic but you and I do that quite often anyway so WTF.

I went for new glasses this weekend. I've had the pair I'm wearing like a putz for the last 7 years. I found out with these ones I'm blind as a bat. When he showed me what my new prescription is going to look like it was hilarious how crappy the glasses I have on are.

Anyway the glasses cost me with insurance $300.00. Without the insurance they would have been $1000.00

Our insurance is better than I thought.

Oakley with all the bells and whistles.

So if ours is signed over the next couple of months we have to be at least 1% over DL's $30.15

What do you want me to join you on that no vote? Listen you begin rotating in a few more months. Get over it.
I'm hoping Sito and your boy will skip right over that article, not only that I want more vacation more holiday etc anything less is a resounding NO. Yep Weez this can drag on for years

In September, without a JCBA we'll be more than 2% over that. You'd figure with a JCBA you'd at least be there and hopefully a little more ahead considering UA will be at $30.47 by the end of 2017.

Al I have been working behind the scenes to get them to leave you and your little box alone there. They have mentioned something about storing old American Way magazines and toilet paper in there though.

They did say that they would try to leave you some room to sit on the magazines if you want but there won't be any room to keep your chair.

I've done as much as I can for you now and hope you're ok with it?

Well I'm sitting on snow shovels and blue juice now so magazines will be an upgrade thanks but that's the least you can do for me bringing you so much joy and wisdom. I think you union buddies over at B might have their hands full right now check out NY one
